SW just popped on to see how things are. Sounds to me as if you need to take a bit more care of yourself just now - stress is a killer.
Agree that effort needs to come from her now, not just you. I don't think there's ever only one person who needs to make adjustments in any relationship - it's a two way thing. Try to stay positive, but don't let all the effort be yours. Take care.Resolution:

Hi SW
I can relate to the not eating - I went through that once when out of the blue my then-boyfriend (who I was mad about!) dumped me. I just did not feel like eating so I drank slim fast shakes instead so at least I would get some nutrition inside me. Just a thought...
If you continue to struggle with the sleeping side of things, I really would suggest seeing your doctor for a temporary solution - and I stress that it need only be temporary.
My OH has real difficulty sleeping if he has anything on his mind and it can make him really ill - he had a nervous breakdown about 7 years ago (before I knew him). We both went through a really bad patch about 3 years ago when we wondered what else life had to throw at us - I lost my job, got ill, suffered from serious depression, he got evicted and was fretting about my illness as well (I had to have an op) - and he just could not sleep. The result was that he had a relapse (although not a full-blown ND again). But once the doc gave him something strong enough to make him sleep he started to recover.
Hope you feel better soon:grouphug: :grouphug:PigginSkint's debt free diary

Big Hugs to you SW. I've just read through this post and my heart goes out to you. I really have nothing more to say over what's already been said, but I wish you well and hope that, because there is still love there between you, that love will grow again and you'll soon be smiling again.
Well done on the pasta though - small steps and all that!!

Ive just finished the letter and it says what she means to me etc (a lot longer than that by the way) but I have also told her that she has to put the effort in, initiate things and come up with ideas as at the moment it is all me.

HI SW
Just popped in to see how your doing. Good to know you have eaten something, just try little and often to keep the energy coming, but to be honest i think the situation itself will be draining on you. Althoug it is very hard you have to try and not fall to pieces and stay strong for you little lad.
I do agree your wife should be making more effort now rather than putting it onto you. You have been very understanding given the circumstances, but i also think that this could be taken advantage of. I may be completely wrong here but: i see it that your a very kind and caring guy which if i get that so does your wife. I am also guessing that you would walk over hot coals for you wife too and i would say she knows that too. With this knowledge it is very easy to swing a situation round for the guilty party to maybe make out it wasn't their fault and they were driven to it.
I just have to ask has your wife made any extra effort or come up with any suggestions on how to get it back on track? You can touch the dust but please don't write in it !
Would you like to speak to the man in charge, or the woman who knows whats happening?0 -
You bet me to it. I think thats good idea xYou can touch the dust but please don't write in it !

Not yet but that is what I have said to her, she is feeling so guilty at the moment, she is struggling to look me in the eye, but we have both agreed to sit down and go to relate and try to solve the problems, only time will tell. We obviously havent thought of nothing else this week and the only idea Ive come up with is the date22/07/07 Debt - Tesco 17644 (6.1%) - Now 10500
