@allan1954, much quicker complaining direct to the merchant with a mis selling case and if not resolved, then the Financial Ombudsman Service.
At least you should know with 8 weeks of a final result, or else FOS.
Start the clock ticking today. ;-)
At least with the tcb forum being down, it stops a lot of woes being added! Surely this wasn't the plan? lol
Of course not, it just need some maintenance! No payments from financial products from cash back sites? Put in a complaint direct and if they don't resolve your issue, head straight to the financial ombudsman - it costs the company £550 in referral fees, win or lose.0 -
Hi there,
@White Rose Tight ThaKnows, I would be happy to take a look into this for you and see what I can find out, we don't want you becoming bitter and twisted at allCould you email me at mse@topcashback.co.uk with your transaction details?
@allan1954, I would suggest getting in touch with the Customer Care Team of the site that you have used to make your purchase, they will be able to take a look into this for you and advise accordingly.
Best wishes,

@Hurri, I am sorry that your transaction is not progressing as quickly as expected, I can see from our systems that we would have expected to see this progress for you come the end of June, however, these are just estimates that are based on the merchants previous payout speeds and this does mean that it can sometimes take a little longer for the cashback to come through. We do ask that members allow around a further 4-6 weeks from the estimate for the cashback to come through, could I kindly ask that you allow your transaction to progress for a further 3 weeks? Please could you contact us via a support ticket if this has not progressed come this time? Hopefully you see the cashback applied to your account for you soon though!
Hi,
This still hasn't come through yet.
On the TCB Support Ticket page, I chose the category "The 'estimated payable date' of my cashback has passed but it is still not payable?"
However, there is nowhere on that page to actually submit a ticket, it just gives the usual fob-off of
"We can appreciate that it is frustrating when a transaction passes the Estimated payable speed however, please be assured that as soon as the funds are received, this will reflect in your account." but no actual way to get TCB to chase this up for me.
I'd appreciate you chasing this up for me on my behalf.

TCB seem to have been coming in for a lot of flak on here lately. I've been using them for nearly 4 years. They've paid me over £1500. I've had £4.09 declined.
There do seem to have been some problems lately. I've had submit support tickets for the majority of transactions this year, but they've all come through in the end.
I'm sure TCB are working on these problems, whatever they are, as it is surely in their interest for the process to be fully automated and for them not to have to deal with support tickets.
However, when you buy via TCB, they make it clear that the cash back is not guaranteed.
It really is money for nothing. I am very happy with all the money TCB have given me, and I am happy to sit back and wait patiently while they sort things out.
Thanks TCB!0 -

I read about tcb charging for membership so I thought I'd get in touch with them to see if the fee had been applied to my account. It turns out I had, with no notification. If I want to cancel I owe them £9.50 for the extras I've had!!0

That will probably be the extra 4% cash back you've received (5% instead of basic 1%). So I'd imagine you've earned around £200 cash back since the fee kicked in. It can be an advantage, but you need to earn over £125 and more importantly receive the cash back to make it worthwhile.
I am a PLUS member and by choice as I need to purchase several insurances (generally high earners) for self and tenanted properties. But it has been an effort and what's promoted doesn't really work out and I've had to get most of the cash back myself!
There were many members caught out with the fee and it was generally felt it was an underhand tactic and no way member focused. There were also a good few threads on the tcb forum worth reading, but the forum has been down the 2nd part of July and all of August so far.
It does state though that the forum should be back up soon, though to be fair, that was stated quite a long time ago now.
It would be ironic if when the forum come backs up (if it ever does), that all previous posts (or woes) have been lost!No payments from financial products from cash back sites? I have been spending the last an hour or so trying to log in to my TCB account, but the TCB website doesn't seem to response/work at all…

Me too. I don't use it that much, but whenever I have lately it's been incredibly slow.0
