• Pleased to announce my Sky cashback has now moved to confirmed hopefully it'll move to payable soon but at least there's some progress, don't know if it had anything to do with me giving my 30 days cancelation notice to Sky last night based on the cashback issue or if TCB kicked them up the backside lol.

Pleased to hear things are looking more positive
• I am in the process of attempting to purchase a laptop for my inlaws and thought would give TCB a go.

I clicked through to PC World and noticed a laptop that I was interested in was £350 but when I googled it myself through to PC World I found that the price had dropped to £330 a saving of £20.

It appears at first glance that the merchants increase their prices to cover the cost of cashback, therefore you are probably worse off.:T

Must admit I've never had that before I usually put what I want in my basket then sign into my cashback site though and my baskets then appears with the goods at the piece I saw them.

I bought 4 Pet Insurance Policies with More Than via Topcashback earlier this year. Three were bought in January and, after my raising a claim etc have moved to confirmed but three weeks later still haven't been paid. The fourth policy was bought late Feb and still has not even appeared on my account despite me submitting a claim. Am I likely to receive these payments? The first three total £126 and the fourth is £40, so will be upset if I don't.

@tonkatol, don't get upset as financial products are fairly easy to resolve yourself.
Tcb have had issues with especially financial products and have let you down along with many others.
Contact the merchant direct and issue a mis selling complaint. It must be a complaint.
Advise you believe you have been mis sold a financial product due to the non payment of cash back from their affiliate marketing via their agents.
Advise the merchant you will pass the issues to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) if not fully resolved. The merchant will have 8 weeks to reach a conclusion and most are actually very good and you should have your cash within 4 weeks.
More Than are actually pretty good once contacted.

We’re here to help resolve your complaint.
Please email enquiries@morethan.com and include your policy number, name and personal contact information and as much detail as possible about your complaint.
We’ll respond to your email within 24 hours, Monday to Friday.
No payments from financial products from cash back sites? Put in a complaint direct and if they don't resolve your issue, head straight to the financial ombudsman - it costs the company £550 in referral fees, win or lose.

It might just be a run of bad luck, but I had virtually no problems for years, but now transactions are failing to track far more regularly.

I've never had a problem previously, but my last four transactions haven't tracked. No idea why, the tracking checker whatsit says everything's fine.

Hi there,

I hope that you all had a good weekend!

@legendkiller2k8, I am glad to hear that this has now confirmed for you, hopefully the cashback for this comes through soon!

@Thunderpants1817, this should not be occurring for you, could you email me at mse@topcashback.co.uk with a few details of your purchase so that I can get this looked into?

@magsmorris, please let me assure you that we do care and we would like to get this resolved for you. If you could email me at mse@topcashback.co.uk with the email used to access your account and the date of your transaction, I would be happy to take a look at how this is progressing for you.

@tonkatol, I would hope to see your confirmed transactions progress for you soon, in regards to your current claim though, I would be happy to take a look into how this is progressing for you. Could you email me at mse@topcashback.co.uk with the date of your transaction? Could you do this from the email you use for your TopCashback account also?

@wdah, as this has only occurred on your most recent transactions, this sounds like it may be down to your cookies. Could you ensure that all cookies are cleared prior to your next visit You should see your tracking improve but please do not hesitate to contact us if not and we can go through this further with you.

Best wishes,

Hi there,

@cell, when this occurs, we do find that is usually down to your cookies needing clearing. If you do find though that there are certain merchants in which it is more of a regular occurrence, please do contact us on a support ticket and we can look into these in further detail for you :)

Best wishes,
Samantha

Thanks for this. When I've put in a claim for missing cashback the transaction has been recorded because, as you know, when you enter your details you're asked to check the transaction against those in your records.

And to be honest with one of the claims going back to 7th April and the other to 19th June if it was just a matter of cookies you'd have some news by now. I keep nudging, but of course it's pointless, being simply designed to make a claimant feel like they're doing something.

Hotels and florists seem to be the worst.

Conversely Holiday Extras tracked perfectly and is now in the 'confirmed' column.
