Hey,
@methodicallymad – If you move from a Plus to Classic Member we will remove any bonus top ups you have earned if you switch mid year.
Many thanks,
Matt

Thank you for that update.
Well done and total respect. It shows what can easily be achieved, although it should never ever have got to that level.
Why many others don't go down a similar route, I don't know?
I hope that the Co-op bank have been clattered with the FOS fee too.
I've stopped posting on here re the FOS route as I feel like I'm banging my head against a brick wall. I'll concentrate on my own transactions though and I'll post them, if needed.
I have several financial purchases coming to fruition soon, or should be as they'll be at the four months stage. More Than has been confirmed earlier than expected to be honest, but as mentioned earlier, I'm expecting to issue a complaint. They have five weeks maximum to pay up before I take any possible actions. Reviews on TCB and past experiences aren't good, but they do respond to complaints well and pay compensation.
To be fair, I've found TCB to have been pretty good of late. But, I'm not complacent.
Again, thanks for your post. Top man.No payments from financial products from cash back sites? Put in a complaint direct and if they don't resolve your issue, head straight to the financial ombudsman - it costs the company £550 in referral fees, win or lose.0 -
Hey @methodicallymad,
Being a Plus Member means you will get a top up on a lot of transactions or 105% of the commission we are paid (currently up to 115%) unlike Classic Members who get 101% of the commission we are paid (Currently up to 111%). This can lead to a lot of extra bonus cashback in total, especially for the larger purchases.
Virgin Media’s average payout time is 9 wks 3 days
I do hope this helps.
Best wishes,

Bought a laptop from Microsoft Store in November 2015, offering a special £350 cashback. Tracked and went payable at £8.32 at the start of 2016.
Raised a missed cashback claim in December 2015 for the missing cashback.
In June 2016 got the following message:
"Hi there,
After looking into your claim further for you, I am sorry to tell you that your claim has been declined as the network has not identified ourselves as the last referral to the merchant’s site and this transaction..."
I messaged back asking how that can be when I'd already been paid for the "normal" transaction rate, and the claim was reinstated.
Tumbleweed since then... now February 2017, 15 months after purchase what a joke.0 -

There is something VERY iffy about Microsoft Store.
I bought an item with an EXCLUSIVE cashback of 30.00. It tracked at 1.42. I put in a claim, and 6 weeks later, the claim came back to me still at 1.42 even though the claim had filled in the 30.00 for me prior to submitting the missing cashback claim! How someone claimed to have looked into this is totally beyond me, its fascicle.
I fed this back to MS directly, this seems to happen so often, loads of people on UKHotDeals fell victim this one.
While I am not generally one to go around TCB, I think the ASA need to have a look at MS activities.0 -
Hi Everyone,
@Justice13075 – I do believe our Claims Team have been in touch about this.
@legendkiller2k8 - That is great news to hear!
@Mr N000bie and @bxboards – This merchant pays the difference several months later. This can happen after the tracked amount has gone to payable. This can take some time but we have spoken to the merchant and there is no way of getting this system changed I am afraid.
I do hope this helps everyone.
Best wishes,
