I just checked my topcashback account to discover that a transaction I made with !!!!!!!!!!! for a hotel booking has been declined!
I'd like to know why but can't seem to lodge a complaint on the website as it won't let me

@ woodface7 – It doesn’t matter to the merchant which affiliate gets paid, what matters is it’s paid to the correct referrer or referrers of the cashback and it can be the case there can be more than one, even if you clicked through just us and made a purchase. Cookies stay on your device for a long time sometimes, it’s why we do ask members to clear them right before logging in.

That reply does not relate to our query. The purchase tracked to TCB perfectly within hours. (We are not stupid enough to not clear cookies before a large purchase like this. In years on cashback sites, we have never lost a commission)
The issue was why the pending £168 still showing hasn't uplifted. We would be grateful if you would address it.0 -

@kimcoates – We analyse the broader picture for all cases. We can see all transactions and not just ones members question on here and therefore this gives us a much better idea of what should and shouldn't be happening. We will not take action based on assumptions, we need to investigate and take action if necessary. A few members finding their transactions have been declined and find out they have the same Cashback Network, should not lead us assume they are declining all transactions. However, I would like to assure you all concerns are investigated and we certainly do take action if required.
@Justice13075 – This is how the system works yes, apart from TopCashback pays all (100%+) of the commission it is awarded.
@alex_3856 – I am really sorry to hear your cashback has been declined. If you email me at mse@topcashback.co.uk I will look into this decline for you and see what we can do to further assist you with this transaction.
@woodface7 – If your cashback claim for the incorrect amount was declined it is likely down to the commission being split and us not being the sole referrer of the purchase. However, if you email me at mse@topcashback.co.uk I will be sure to look into this for you.

Merchant "indirectly" offers cashback via a cashback site hence TCB reference to "cashback" in this reply

I just checked my topcashback account to discover that a transaction I made with Ven*** for a hotel booking has been declined, after it was shown as pending since the beginning of November 2016. I don't think there was any valid reason why it should have been declined.
I cannot raise a cashback claim because it is over 100 days and I cannot raise a support claim because Ven*** has been taken over by Expe*** and is no longer listed as a merchant.
Please can the TCB rep get in touch to let me know what I should do.0 -
Is anyone, like me, having to regularly log back in to TCB? Once upon a time I was able to stay logged in or, at worst, my browser would remember my username and password and I could log in by clicking in the username field.digital0

@mustardtree6 – All being well you should see a new pending transaction in your account now.

Do you have any stats on "Free price Compare - Energy Cashback Exclusive" ?
