You're laughing your nuts off then. Easy enough for the FOS.
For the records, how long have TCB been 'working hard' trying to resolve this issue?
@ B_M
I finally got round to putting FOS submission together, was wondering if their is anything you can think of for me to add and whether your opinion is that I should indicate a compensation figure or leave that entirely to FOS
Co-operative Bank - Apparent - Current Account - Cashback misselling/ Unreasonable delay paying out cashback incentive/Extremely poor complaint handling/responses
18th April 2016 - succesfully tracked 125.00 cashback transaction for opening a new current account plus full switch with switched out account closed that had reached confirmed status subsequently wrongly declined around 25 September 2016 ( Over 5 Months after transaction date) ........I fully met published cashback incentive offer terms and conditions.
Apparent unreasonable delay paying out advertised/promoted cashback/compounded by current non payment status of advertised/promoted cashback marketed/advertised/promoted via www.topcashback.co.uk.
Cooperative Bank have both kept me waiting 9 ( Nine) months and counting for the incentive payment, apparent unreasonable delay of paying me the incentive payment has prevented me from transferring/switching the account out to another current account provider for another incentive payment and caused me to waste many hours firstly communicating with both Co-Operative Bank and Topcashback regarding the matter and more hours spent putting this submission together.
I already had a Co-Operative Current account and had previously over years had received account opening/switch incentives direct from Cooperative Bank and more recently via moneysupermarket.com which is a comparison site as opposed to a Cashback site.
Cooperative Bank 125.00 account opening/switch incentive T+C which I participated in on April 18th 2015 via www.topcashback.co.uk did not exclude either existing customers/those who had recently received a switch incentive from Co-Operative Bank.
+ added TCB - T+C
Reply to my complaint on the matter - factually incorrect/ apparent wrong answer given
Another mistake was made when answering my complaint as a matter of fact
which Co-Operative Bank have since had an apparent steadfast determination not to rectify mistake that was made when answering my complaint
Co-Operative Bank answered my complaint which solely related to Topcashback 125.00 Cashback transaction decline with a screen shot as per top half of link stating I failed to meet these T+C which everybody can see is T+C for Cooperative Bank own 150.00 incentive offer, absolutely nothing to do with Cashback offered via TCB, hence opening words " In addition to the cashback offer from TopCashback"
https://www.topcashback.co.uk/the-co-operative-bank-current-accounts/
Co-operative Bank 150.00 offer which screen shot related to didnt start until 3 May hence consistent references to "3 May"
https://www.cooperativebank.co.uk/assets/ns/bank/pdf/currentaccounts/common/switchingOfferTerms.pdf
https://www.co-operativebank.co.uk/news/2016/cash-reward-for-switching-to-co-op-bank
The more I have tried to encourage Co-Operative Bank to resolve this matter without involvement of F.S.C, the more determined Co-Operative Bank appear to have been not to resolve matters
Broken its promise to reply to me in reasonable "due course" period of time.
Not treating its members the same/fairly - at least one other member who complained about the same thing received both a truthful/accurate/factually correct response in first instance together with offer of compensation in the first instance.

"Co-op upheld my complaint as the non-payment was an error at their end, apparently due to their systems detecting I already had a current account with them which had also received cashback offer for (Quidco). Hence the £150 will now be processed and go into my TCB account plus giving me £50 comp as an apology for the error and inconvenience. Co-op have dealt with both my cashback complaints pretty promptly and very fairly so happy with that"
Correspondence via TCB - Whilst apparent mass confirmed to declines have been reversed by TCB back to confirmed at the time of putting this submission together - status remains at "waiting for merchant"
+ added TCB - Ticket Correspondence
Second FOS Complaints Form Section
Pay advertised/ promoted 125.00 cashback that it advertised/promoted via www.topcashback.co.uk on 18th April 2016 and compensate me 350.00 + for the inconvenience/stress/trouble/upset/distress distress – anxiety, disappointment it has caused me by its behaviour in firstly making a mistake/ wrongly declining my tracked cashback, making me wait 9 months and counting for the 125.00 incentive payment
Secondly answering my complaint about declined/non payment with telling me that i had not met T+C of a completely different incentive offer which started days after the transaction I was/am complaining about.
Thirdly, to all intents and purposes ignoring further communications/representations that I made on the matter to resolve matters which has forced me to spend more hours on this submission to FSC -Negative impact on daily life0 -

Ive searched these forums and searched again, I cant see any (not even 1) post on the same subject relating to "Quidco" :huh:0 -
Hey everyone,
@Yorkshire Pud - Do you mind emailing me at mse@topcashback.co.uk so I can take a closer look?
@bristolleedsfan - I won't comment on why people don't decide to post on this forum about issues with another cashback site. It's completely down to how members want to raise their queries. The main port of call are support tickets but this forum is an additional way that members can choose to get in touch.
Best wishes,

Hi Matt at TCB. Thanks for your offer but I don't want to compromise my anonymity. However I can tell you I opened the account in the second week of April 2016 (LOL) I still have the account and I recently sent another reply (can't do a Support ticket as its so old it doesn't show in the list) to the missing cashback claim and it has changed again to Waiting for Co op Bank.
So all Confirmed Co op Bank April 2016 transactions should be paid out now given its 10 weeks past the ridiculous 29 weeks estimate (that was 20 weeks)!:rotfl:
If it takes until after April will you buy the transaction a Birthday Cake.
Credibility of TCB at stake! Get on it!
Everyone reading this must wonder about TCB0 -
Hi Yorkshire Pud ,
Sorry to hear you do not wish to get in touch as I would be happy to take a look into your account to see if I could help you further. You can submit a support ticket under the category ' other' as it does not require you to input a merchant or transactions.
With the co-op bank transactions, as I have mentioned we have recently received some payment for transactions and hopefully one of the next payments we receive includes your transaction

Are the reviews on TCB real? Or are negative reviews removed?
Signed up to a couple of "too good to be true" bingo/casino offers, going by the reviews on their pages they pay out very fast (2-3 weeks). In reality it's been nearly 2 months with no movement.
In addition I'm now getting spammed relentlessly (phone, text, email) by both sites begging me to deposit more money with them.0 -
Does anybody know if there is a current account that offers cash back for a new account but not for switching just a current account from scratch with decent deposit? thanks0

Hey everyone,
Happy Friday and I hope you haven't got snowed in.
@cm7 - The merchant reviews are very much real. We follow the same guidelines when processing these for both positive and negative reviews. If you need us to look into any specific please do email us at mse@topcashback.co.uk
@jojomomoftwo - You can see all the merchants listed under the 'Banking' category here: https://www.topcashback.co.uk/category/banking/ I do hope you find this useful.
I do hope this helps you both and that everyone has a great weekend.
Best wishes,
