@cm7 - The merchant reviews are very much real. We follow the same guidelines when processing these for both positive and negative reviews. If you need us to look into any specific please do email us at mse@topcashback.co.uk
The two merchants are Lucky Pants Bingo and Magical Vegas. There's lots of reviews on both saying cashback was paid after a couple of weeks. The "Estimated Payable" on both of there is however 7 weeks (despite some of those reviews being fairly recent). Mine is over 7 weeks (although it has been sitting as "confirmed" for about a month).
If the reviews from Sept/Oct/Nov are legit then maybe the merchant has simply stopped paying since then? I realised later that they're both the same company (when they started spamming me with phone calls).0 -

40 weeks now and still not Payable.

Hey everyone,
I hope you all had a nice weekend.
@cm7 - I have just checked the latest payments and can see for a lot they were paid within two weeks. I am sorry of this didn't include your payment and I do hope we get the payment for your transaction soon so we can get you the cashback.
@Yorkshire Pud - In most cases, unfortunately, we do have to kindly ask members to allow for the cashback to progress as we can only pay out at the same speed that the merchant pays us. However, as mentioned previously it wasn't too long ago that we received payment from this merchant and so hopefully it won't be too much longer for you. I truly am sorry it's taking so long.
I do hope this helps you both.
Best wishes,

I'm not sure if I believe that. The latest update on their pages state that the last payment received was during December for October transactions. That would be at least 5 weeks.
They've been sitting as "confirmed" for over a month now. Confirmed means the merchant has confirmed it. Are they allowed to confirm a transaction then simply choose not to pay?0 -
TCB continues to get worse and worse.
Any cashback amount over £10 requires weeks and months of chasing, queries, reminders often to no avail. Retailers/merchants not keeping to their side of the agreement.
Currently owed about £250 from several merchants who are either denying payment, reducing cashback paid from promised or delaying and delaying payment.
Getting to the point were I won't be using.
Never had any issues with Quidco. If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide

Hey everyone,
@cm7 - I am sorry you don't believe what I am saying. The payment stats on site may take a short while to update and may not take all transactions into account, for example it may only update once a certain percentage of cashback is paid for that period.
Once a transaction is confirmed the merchant is then invoiced for the funds but it has to be part of a batching processing and while the merchant may have paid it, this may go trough different organisations until it is passed over to the cashback networks who then pay us.
@JPears - I am sorry to hear this is your experience of the site as this is certainly not the experience that most members encounter and cashback reliability doesn't decrease based on cost. Each cashback transaction should be seen as an individual event, taken place under different circumstances and in most cases with a different network.
Normally commission is earned by companies without the customer knowing. The speed of payment, the amount of cashback should never be seen as a guaranteed thing as we point out at various times on our site. While cashback sites do their best to manage their members expectations, sometimes things can take longer than usual or sometimes a claim may need to be lodged. It's not because the merchant just doesn't want to pay. If this did happen with a merchant the commission source would no longer display their links.
Something very important to bear in mind, cashback sites do not obtain payment from the merchants directly and do not track transactions. Changing cashback sites due to slow progressing cashback or issues with incorrect cashback may lead to disappointment as in most cases for 100% cashback sites they can only award what they are paid and when they are paid it.
If you have any issues with your account please direct me to these via our email mse@topcashback.co.uk so I can look into your account and see what the latest is with your issues, whether that's getting a claim resolved or getting your cashback in the payable section.
Best wishes,

Trying to do car insurance via TCB - About 45% of the links I'm clicking through to I'm getting a service unavailable screen with HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable.
Is this a TCB problem?

Word of advice, don't bother with Topcashback. Their customer service is shocking and their missing Cashback claims handling is abysmal.
I am a member of several referred schemes, TCB, Quidco and (much maligned) ShopperDiscountsandRewards - I can honestly say TCB have the worst customer service (no phone number, Quidco do call backs for premium members and SDR have a 0800 number) and I am fed up of Cashback claims being refused.
The latest is a 14 month old claim for Homeserve Cashback - they underpaid me £68.25 but the link was actually for £84 (this includes my 5% bonus). After many months -over a year- of their message system they finally responded today that the merchant has refused the claim as they were not the last referrer......clearly wrong given they already paid out some. This and many other examples of such cr*p from them leave me no other course than to cancel my membership and have this public rant.
And breathe......0 -
@bristolleedsfan - I won't comment on why people don't decide to post on this forum about issues with another cashback site. It's completely down to how members want to raise their queries. The main port of call are support tickets but this forum is an additional way that members can choose to get in touch.
Best wishes,
Matt

Hi there,
Thank you for getting in touch.
I have had a look in to this for you.
Transactions update to us in batches, this is why it may be taking a little longer than expected.
There is no set time frame for a merchant to confirm a transaction, this is something they do and something we have no control over.
Please could you allow another couple of weeks for this to move to Confirmed status?
If you have any more questions, please get back in touch.
Kind regards,
TopCashback | 21 Dec 2016
reason i asked for it to be chased is that it hasnt moved from original pending to at least confirmed

Hi there,
Thanks for getting in touch with us.
I am sorry to hear that this has not progressed to payable in your account for you yet. We are currently waiting for the cashback to be passed across to us so that we can make this payable in your account.
I can assure you that once we receive this cashback, it will reflect in your TopCashback account as payable. If you could please allow a further 3-4 weeks for this to progress then we should hopefully see this shortly.
I hope this helps and any further questions are more than welcome.
Thanks,
TopCashback | 20 Dec 2016
