Hey everyone,
It doesn't appear as though my response from yesterday posted. I hope the below information helps you all:
@ bristolleedsfan - Hopefully it won’t be too long before we get the co-op claims resolved for you and the rest of our members affected.
@teddysmum - During the year there are loads of ways for our members to benefit from Plus Membership especially as the 10% for everyone was on for short amount of time. Currently, it’s up to 15% for Classic and our highest ever up to 30%.
With Medion, if it’s just a sale price it’s ok but if it’s a discount via a code or a price only available for a select group of people like a student discount then the cashback will likely be affected.
@B_M – As with any average there can be anomalies that are outside of the trend and we can’t stop this from happening. However, the average will amend once the payment is received for those transactions if the average is different. Hopefully, it won’t be too long now.
@lovemunkey187 – Amazon is no longer part of the cashback system I am afraid
I do hope this helps.
Best wishes,

Same here.
Also previously if it wanted you to login again it would show the login screen (umm... obviously?), now it defaults to a screen where you can login or register - unfortunately Chrome autofills username/password in the "register" box. So to login now I have to click account, them click on the logo to get back to the homepage, then click "member login" on another register page before finally getting the login page.0 -
Hi Digital and Cm7,
I know it is frustrating being asked to constantly log in and this is something that we aware of, we are hoping to have this issue resolved so that you can remain logged in for more than a day at a time.
In the meantime if you select to save your details, although you will be asked to log in again at this stage you won't need to keep typing out your log in details.
Sorry for the inconvenience whilst this is looked into and corrected!
Best wishes,

@TCB Samantha, please can you advise the current situation regarding the TCB 'highest cashback guarantee' which your colleague either avoided / missed or doesn't know.
Will TCB match and and a 30% top-up at present for Plus members?
Or, are TCB looking at beating Quidco's amazing current 'highest cashback guarantee'?
Get the best cashback rate
every time you shop
We’ll double the difference if you find a better rate!
No payments from financial products from cash back sites? Put in a complaint direct and if they don't resolve your issue, head straight to the financial ombudsman - it costs the company £550 in referral fees, win or lose.0 -
Good afternoon,
@Katherine21, don't worry, could you email me at MSE@topcashback.co.uk? I would be happy to have a look into this for you and see what I can do to help!
@molerat, thank you for making me aware of this, let me just relay this to our tech team to ensure they get this resolved alongside the original issue, hopefully it is not too much longer until this is resolved.
@B_M, if you could let me know the merchant you are looking to lodge a Highest Cashback Claim against, I would be happy to have a look and see if you would receive the added up to 30%, there are some merchants you see that this extra amount would not apply to.
I hope this helps everyone and I look forward to hearing back from some of you.
Many thanks,

I posted the info here - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=71644528&postcount=3060
The merchant was Talktalk Mobile.
Maybe too late now as the rates are about to change?
But to be honest, TCB need to make clear the terms of their 'highest cashback guarantee' now. Your competitor, Quidco, has upgraded their terms (after their recent change) and they are much, much clearer and member focused. More advantageous too. Are they now the UK's 'most generous' cashback site?
update: - I thought the rates were about to change and Quidco's rate is now £50 for a Talktalk sim only deal (SIMO).
TCB's rate is still only £30 plus a top up. Plus members are looking at £39, which includes the current 30% top up.
So, a yes or no please.
Under the TCB 'highest cashback guarantee', would TCB match the Quidco rate and add the 30% top up? That would make a rate, for Plus members, of £65.

@ teddysmum – At this present moment, all members are getting a 10% bonus and therefore this is the rate it will be whether you are Plus or Classic.

Hi There,
In regards to your Plusnet cashback, we have been investigating this further and discovered this was due to an error on Quidco’s, part.
We have found that the Quidco link you clicked through on this occasion meant you took out an additional discount from Plusnet.
As a goodwill gesture we are now going to pay the declined cashback to you so you do not have to miss out on this occasion.
This should show in your account within the next 72 hours and I hope this is a more satisfactory resolution for you.
I said at the time apparent Plusnet fiasco only appeared to affect Quidco members in the same way as all the posts I have seen on MSE regarding Co-operative Bank confirmed then declined apparent fiasco all relate to TCB members
No prizes for guessing what some TCB members are hoping for Christmas - clue is within subject of this post. :snow_laug
Highest cashback rates are no consolation to those TCB members who dont receive advertised/promoted cashback even more so when the transaction concerned has been "confirmed" - subsequently change to declined.
A couple of folks affected by the Co op Bank NoTopCashback fiasco have now posted replies from TCB about their so called missing cashback claims (they weren't missing until Co op Declined them) saying can't be traced as through TCB. So how could they be declined if they didnt track through TCB?
One day we will get somewhere with this but not so far!:cool:0
