There is cashback confirmed on my TCB account for a transaction done on 29 October 2015.

I've navigated the TCB site head to toe, but nowhere does it tell me when exactly the transaction was confirmed. In the 'earnings' webpage it says ''estimated payable' 7 weeks. But without knowing the confirmed date, how on earth are we to work out the payable date?

I've emailed mse[at]topcashback.co.uk about this just now.

@Shrimply - Matt will be along soon to advise you how to resolve this potential mis-selling off a contract issue. Or, he'll tell you of your 'cookie' problems.
You can resolve this though, but I fear you will have to do it yourself. Don't give up.

Well today I have been able to place a missing cashback claim, 2 weeks after the order. What I don't understand is why no one on the support ticket said that I simply had to wait longer than the usual 7 days if that was the case. I will see whether I have any luck with the manual claim.

He can tell me I have cookie issues all he likes but, as I say I use a fresh browser just for cashback, with no ablocker installed etc etc

    Happy Friday everyone!

Hope you're all looking forward to the weekend.

@Shrimply - It is true that not all merchants accept missing cashback claims, however this is a small amount. Their decisions for this are varied, normally, the merchants that don't accept claims are merchants that offer a cashback amount where no purchase is necessary.

Can you kindly send me an email to mse@topcashback.co.uk? I would like to investigate why you were told that you could not lodge a claim.

@sue1976 - Do you mind dropping me an email also to mse@topcashback.co.uk? I'll then have more information on your transaction and see whether this is a claim or a transaction and can help you better.

@Stridie - We do payouts every working day except a few minor exceptions. Please send me an email to mse@topcashback.co.uk so I can locate the problem you are having.

@OceanSound - I will reply to you as soon as I can :)

    Best wishes,
    Matt

Ah, Co-operative Bank and a financial issue.
Hopefully Matt will be along soon to give ALL options and advise how to resolve a financial issue. Very easy really, so Matt (or TCB) should simply advise.
Please post back when you receive your cashback.
No payments from financial products from cash back sites? Put in a complaint direct and if they don't resolve your issue, head straight to the financial ombudsman - it costs the company £550 in referral fees, win or lose.

    Hi bristolleedsfan,

I am sorry that your transaction has been declined. It sounds as though, upon validation it wasn't deemed as met the commission criteria. Whether this was us not being related back as the referrer or whether it was another term that wasn't met is not something I can say at this point in time. Please can you drop me an email to mse@topcashback.co.uk? There I will see if you have been given an initial reason and from there I can advise you further.

    Best wishes,
    Matt

I have sent a email, looking forward to hearing the reason as to why the transaction changed from "confirmed" to "declined"

    https://www.topcashback.co.uk/Help/67

"After a certain number of days, your transaction will normally switch to ‘Confirmed’ status. This means that the merchant has pretty much agreed that all is fine with your transaction and your cashback will be forthcoming at some point"
  • Also strange that this Declined status happened to several previously Confirmed for Co-op cashback customers on the same day and all with different circumstances as far as one can gather?

Strange goings on at Co-op/their affiliate.

Update - No Initial reason for declined

Asked to submit Missing cashback claim - cant do that as is over 100 days old

Tried to submit a support ticket several times via both I.E and F.F keep getting this message

    Whoopsie Daisy!
Something seems to have gone wrong...

  • This is what I tried to submit

800.00 deposited every month from outside source

Salary/Pension credit credited to account every month since May 2016

4 direct debits paid out every month

After account opening I was telephoned by Cooperative Bank Kingswoood Bristol branch who asked me if I would like to switch an account to .... ( no facility to initiate a switch online with Coop Bank, can only be done in branch or by phone)

Full switch completed with switched in account closed

I have not previously received a Cashback Incentive from Cooperative Bank via "any" "cashback Site"

T+C did not bar existing customers from the cashback offer that I accepted and duly went on to fulfill all T+C

--Maybe my first idea was the best idea - contact Cooperative Bank myself and put a complaint in and to ask for my own top up in pounds as opposed to % :D
