@bxboards - Thanks for your suggestion. The real reason is due to the personal information being needed to query a claim and also that different merchants track things differently,

I do not understand why a merchant requires personal information for an incorrect rate. I can see why this would be needed for an item that didn't track at all for an untracked item, but not for an incorrect rate.
This particular merchant only offers one product and one rate. The merchant has acknowledged the order and the transaction is the correct value as reported back to you, but the commission reported is wrong. I do not see why they need to know anything personal about me as this is not relevant. They either pay 5% or they don't. They actually do not need *need* to know about me at all to honour their advertised commitments.0 -
My insurance payout from December has finally reached payable but now could take up to August 24th to actually be paid out

@B_M - Thankfully we've won gold in a lot of awards recently including a public vote for number one cashback siteIt's great to hear your most recent transaction has tracked correctly.
@bxboards - In some cases the transaction needs to be traced back to find out what's happened for it. This isn't always possible via order number. We will only ever ask for information that is required and will never ask for something we don't need. There can be varied reasons for incorrect cashback rates and so all avenues need to be checked.
@CHRISSYG - It depends which method you wish to use. If you use PayPal, it can take a day or two to reach you but for GiftCards etc it can take longer as the process is more long winded.

Well I've put in claims (9 of them) - please take this feedback as constructive, but I feel the claims process is woeful.
I put in incorrectly tracked thems and they were bounced back to me ('Missing Cashback Claim') within minutes claiming to have 'news' showing the exact transaction that was incorrectly tracked to begin with. I had to resubmit them again. Total waste of time there.
And I now have had an e-mail essentially blaming ME ('
Top Tips for Successful Cashback Tracking') for the problems going on about clearing cookies which is completely inappropriate for a transaction tracking at a lower rate.
Its very frustrating when the problem is not my side. Its more painful then dental surgery and patronising e-mails telling me where I am going wrong do not help.
Sorry but I still feel this should be dealt with your side, not my side.0 -
My payment has finally arrived in my account and i have closed the missing cashback claim for SSE as i'm sick of fighting for payouts.

@bxboards - I do understand the claims process itself can be long winded and we do what we can to minimise the amount of information you have to provide. I do understand what you are saying in regards to the automatic emails and will ask our team to look into that.
The Claim system does link the original transaction to the just to make sure that's not the amount you were expecting. Sometimes the odd member does miss this and it can reduce the time it takes to resolve those claims. However, this is also something our Claims Team are looking into to see if there are ways to prevent unnecessary linking of transactions.
@CHRISSYG - I am sorry to hear you are leaving us. You are more than welcome to return at any point.

I've been quite negative towards TCB over the last year due to issue after issue.
Anyway first the moan part why on Earth is Free price compare taking so long to either decline or confirm just do one or the other for crying out loud 3 months is plenty of time to know if it'll pay or not and this i believe is TCBs own comparasson network :mad: .
Now the positive i have noticed a vast improvement on tracking i'm rarely now having to make any claims for cashback not tracked even large ammounts are tracking fine wether or not i'll recieve the cashback is still to be seen but this is certainly a huge step in the right direction so well done on that TCB.0
