    Hi I'm new to these cashback sites.

    I'm meant to be paid some cashback this month from topcashback.

    Once it has come through, how do I spend it?

    Can I convert it to an amazon voucher so I can purchase a computer monitor?

    All has happened that a week has gone by and the damn thing has been sent back to me! Unbelievable.

    Why can't your system figure this out? You know the transaction value, you know the percentage, and you know what the figure should have been? Why go through this nonsense? You must be able to see the claims situation in these sort of situations is nothing short of farcical.

    Normal service returns to TV this week as the summer of sport takes a short break while the transformation from the Olympics to Paralympics takes place!

    @legendkiller2k8 - First of all it is fantastic to hear your tracking has improved. We are always working behind the scenes to improve tracking for our members when the reason for incorrect tracking is down to something that could have been avoided - either by the network or by the system.

    With Free price compare , I am sorry your transaction hasn't progressed and will take this information and query it with the relevant teams and I can assure you we will progress it as soon as we are paid.

    @bxboards - changes to the system etc can take a long time and therefore this may be something you notice more over the long term, rather than the short term. It is difficult to create one system that works for everything as there are so many variables when it comes to cashback tracking. It's these discrepancies and variables we would have to be careful with and means that any changes can't be rushed through.

    It depends what options are available to you, it varies from who paid the cashback, some will allow paypal/amazon..etc, others wont. You need to check your own account to tell what is possible.
  • ARGOS and TCB have still not paid out what was clearly advertised on their web site, they confirmed the transaction but after 9 months, THAT'S RIGHT 9 MONTHS OF DIALOGUE AND TCB CHASING UP THE PROBLEM SEARCHING FOR A RESOLUTION FOR A CUSTOMER WHO WAS RIPPED OFF BY ARGOS NOTHING. 9 MONTHS WAITING FOR A PAYMENT, WITH NO DIALOGUE OR COMMUNICATION FROM TCB, OTHER THAN THEIR CUT AND PASTE RESPONSES OR IF MATT ON HERE GETS SO CHEESED OFF HE POSTS A REPLY....TCB, GET IT SORTED.
    No two ways about this one: Anything Free is not a Basic Right..it had to be earned...by someone, somewhere

    I've seen whoopsie daisy messages on several pages this morning and I am asked to login (which fails) although I am still logged in.

    Yes all whoopsie daisy today.

    I successfully applied for a co-op bank account last week and it tracked within 24hours but shows as £0.00 cashback not £50.40.
    In the past the value of CB always showed when it tracked for all merchants I've had cashback from.

    Also applied for and got a Nationwide current account and for the first ever time it didnt even track. I filed a missing cashback claim after 8 days which was a week ago. Not heard anything yet, no CB showing yet, can take months?!!

    Have to say my experience of TCB is becoming more negative with time and feel that there may be a time when its not worth being a member as problems don't seem to get addressed in good time and there's so many glitches that seem to occur.

    Hi Everyone,

    @AndyPK - As @jenniewb, you can spend in lots of different ways unless the merchant excludes one or more payout option. In most cases you can pay either direct to your bank, via paypal, amazon or one of the variety of vouchers we have on site.

    @Mamabuddah - discussions are continuing and I am told, getting more progressive. Hopefully it wont be too long now.

    @bxboards - we are looking into this but our Team have alerted me, if a member clears cookies and cache it will work following a browser restart.

    @Yorkshire Pud - Whoopsie Daisy error messages are something that we can resolve and I am sorry about these when they do appear. However, declined, incorrect, untracked transactions are normally down to something not happening with your tracking and not something we can control as all we do is track something to you once it is tracked to us. The same issues happens on other cashback sites too. A missing cashback claim can take 12-16 weeks to hear back from as the cashback network has to work out what's wrong and then decide if we should be eligible for the cashback.

    With your co-op cashback I would advise you to lodge a claim so we can get the cashback queried.

    Thanks Matt I have done a missing CB claim for Co-op now.

    As for the fact my last two transactions have had problems I can't think of a reason why they would have tracking problems now when ALL the transactions in the past for all merchants, except Bodyshop WOS, have tracked immediately and at the right value!

    When in doubt blame the customer or their computer ;)

    Your not the first member to suggest we use cookies, a persons device as an opt out clause and i'm sure wont be the last and I can understand why you may think that. However, what I'm here for is to help. It wont do any business good to defend itself if there is a serious problem and it's not something we would do.

    If there was a tracking issue, this would happen with one merchant and one merchant only. If you're finding regular amounts of untracked / incorrect cashback it may indeed mean you're very unlucky and have purchased with two merchants who have tracking issues at the same time or the likely cause is the cookies on your device are not working as we would expect.

    When there is a clear change in tracking this is normally down to an update on your device and so it's worth taking a look into that possibility.

    I hope I have managed to outline above how asking / advising members about their device is something more than just a get out clause.
