Checked my account today and has just gone payable for £37.95. A long wait but well worth it.
Spooky or what?No payments from financial products from cash back sites? Put in a complaint direct and if they don't resolve your issue, head straight to the financial ombudsman - it costs the company £550 in referral fees, win or lose.0 -
Hey @B_M - Thanks for your well wishes
I had a lovely bank holiday thanks. Sarah will certainly do all she can to get your wife the cashback and if CheckoutSmart have already decided it should be awarded hopefully it will only take them a few days to reply back to us.
@MABLE - It's great to hear that this has progressed for you
Best wishes,

Thanks Matt and I can confirm the lovely Sarah has added the money.
Do you have your dark glasses on? You appear to have 'avoided' the Lottery issue? Any comment? Maybe send a rep to HotUKDeals and also make a comment or two? A bit of a mess (to put it kindly)? Even those that were initially tracked have been declined!

Another 'exclusive' that's gone pear-shaped?
I like many of the hotukdeal/tcb members have taken screen grabs of the tcb/national lottery £27 cashback offer before it expired/changed!
Seems like this maybe another tcb fias co like the AMEX fiasco a few years ago, that took approximately six months before we eventually got paid out! I hope it's not a repeat of that!
I shall have to escalate this complaint to the national lottery themselves if the need arises!

Thanks for you imput and yes, an honest reply is needed and not garbage they think they can hoodwink their members with, usually stating no issues they've noticed and probably the members settings. This would mean a vast number of members settings going wrong all over the space of a few days!
I believe Matt is waiting for a scripted answer to post from his leaders, hence not acknowledging yesterday.
@Matt, please don't post that you missed the issue as you clearly read everything else, just failed to respond to the issue.
@Pateo - what was the Amex fiasco please? I wasn't aware of that. Was it similar?
When TCB promote something with the 'exclusive' label, it generally means there are going to be problems! Seriously, the amount of 'exclusives' that go pear-shaped is totally amazing!
In fairness I did recently have a £84 TalkTalk 'exclusive' actually track at £84. So, the 'exclusives' don't fail 100% of the time, probably only around 90%.
Over to you Matt and again, maybe send a reply or two over to HotUKDeals, or you may find more popping across here.No payments from financial products from cash back sites? Lottery did not track for me either,no problems my end0

@Al Ross, hopefully we'll all get that scripted reply this afternoon (they can't miss the last few posts!) and it will go along the lines of:
'The National Lottery! We are aware of an issue with The National Lottery transactions. Please don't worry, we are currently looking into this and we will be contacting all members affected by the issue shortly.'No payments from financial products from cash back sites? Hi Everyone,
@B_M - I'm sorry I got so carried away with your snap and save issues I did miss your Lotto question. Following the thread on a well known site we were keeping an extra eye on the tracking. While to start with there was a few members who had additional money tracking to their account - £10, the actual transaction did track correctly. Anyone whose transactions didn't track, this would be down to normal things such as cookies. To clarify the issue was not and is not transactions not tracking, if anything a handful of members say too much is tracking to their account and this will be declined a little later on.
@Pateo and @Al Ross - As I am also sure you saw on that very popular thread there were a lot whose transactions did track and many members there reporting that. Due to the complex nature of technology I, nor anyone at TopCashback or any other cashback site can give you an exhaustive list of every programme that may or may not affect tracking but ultimately if it doesn't track we're not seen as the person who refereed you to make an eligible purchase. We can give you some helpful tips that helps nearly all members out with their tracking which is why you see our comments about cookies etc cropping up regularly. Of course, you can query an untracked transaction through a claim and those transactions that are seen as eligible are added to an account but there will be some who are not eligible and this will be for varying reasons.
I do hope this helps you all
Best wishes,

Snap & Save seems to have completely vanished from TCBPrivate Parking Tickets - Make sure you put your Subject Access Request in after 25th May 2018 - It's free & ask for everything, don't forget the DVLA0

@Matt, are you actually stating that tracking was normal during the final days of the 'exclusive' promotion? Not a single member on HotUKDeals reported any tracking, only non-tracking!
Please clarify if that's the case or is it ALL the members fault this time with their settings?
The end of the promotion issue was that of non-tracking!
TCB must be the last referrer as it was allegedly a TCB 'exclusive'. Please read up on 'exclusive'.
I fear a TCB backlash to be honest with responses like you have made, although through experience I'm not surprised at all.No payments from financial products from cash back sites?
