Hi bxb, I've recently had £90 declined through policy expert even though I met all the criteria? The thing I've noticed on the site negative feedback against a non paying company seems to be a no no, why?
Quite clearly you have proof of this. Is it worth contacting watchdog? I have been ripped off, how many others out there as well?

Yes, negative reviews are removed as you can see. Take screenshots when you see them would be my advice.

Write a letter of 'complaint' to the insurer in the post - it must be addressed as a 'complaint' for mis-selling via financial incentive that was declined.

I have done this with Direct Line and you can see some of what has gone on publically here. As Topcashback user interface blames the 'merchant' for the decline, this really tends to get the merchants interest and they take this sort of thing very seriously I find, if they get back to you and say they didn't decline it...

Thanks for the advice bxb it's appreciated. I'll post it Monday. I'm not prepared to let this go I see it as fraud and someone is making a lot of money out of this!

Be factual, non-emotional and do not used words like 'fraud' - 'mis-selling' seems to be the new in-vogue term for this sort of thing....

Write a letter in bullet points: outline times, date, bullet points. Take screenshots. I faxed stuff to Directline Customer Care.

Your complaint is that you were offered a financial inducement to take on a financial product, and this was not honoured. Financial products are covered by Financial Ombubsman Service, so a merchant will must take this very seriously.

    Hi there,

@askara, it can take up to 7 days for a transaction to track so we do ask that you kindly allow this time to pass. A colleague of mine has been able to confirm that this should now be resolved but should this not track after 7 days, then please do let me know and I can advise further.

@Clioterus, negative feedback is allowed to be left for a merchant if you feel that the cashback experience has not been satisfactory, if you have not seen this displayed though, you can always contact our Customer Care Team on a support ticket to find out why. We would also be happy to go through how to lodge claim for a declined transaction if you have not done so already.

@houseofpat, sorry for any confusion, it is one account per person rather than household and if you are making separate transactions on separate accounts, then I do not see that this would be a problem. If you were making two transactions on one account, as long as the details for each purchase clearly showed that these were individual transactions, then these should track as expected but we do have an excellent claims system should you experience any issues at all.

    Best wishes,
    Samantha

Reporting on perfect tracking for myself via tcb, can't fault it now and no missing claims required. I use firefox mostly for tcb, but no issues via chrome either. 100% tracking for 2015, yes I know it's early days, but I've made a few large purchase transactions.
Tcb rates have been a little lower, a lot lower than some of it's 'rivals' at times (though they do have their own exclusive rates), but they have honoured all of the 'highest cash back guarantee' claims so far and added the extra top ups (5% in my case for being a PLUS member).
I've an interesting one today, as tcb are offering quite a lot less than Quidco (premium members, similar to PLUS members). Tcb should honour the Quidco rate, but tcb have been offering an extra 10% for their 10th birthday offer (excellent) and of course I'll expect the 5% top up. This would be a leading rate and unbeatable (if accepted). I'm hoping it's swiftly accepted, or declined. I'll have the option of cancelling and going elsewhere if declined, but I'm hoping this is not the route I have to take. I may well kick myself for not initially going via Quidco and taking that higher rate.
I'll update later, but it's worth checking tcb's generous offer.

    Happy 10th birthday.

My purchase was made on 10 birthday weekend but the extra bonus of 10% was not added to the amount i received. Will it be added by TCB themselves when my purchase is confirmed. Any advice would be welcome by TCB. Thanks.

See what the tcb rep says later, but it may need a claim.

Tcb honoured the massive Quidco rate with their 'highest cash back guarantee' and paid the 5% top up for being a PLUS member. But, the extra 10% birthday promotion offer, for purchases made at the weekend hasn't been added. Well, not yet anyway.

@tcb, will I have to put in a manual claim for the promoted 10%? Or will it be updated soon? Purchase made on Sunday.
Thanks for honouring Quidco's rate though, it was a massive difference and gives confidence in the tcb guarantee.

    Hi there,

@zebusi, usually, if it is tracking as expected, then a claim would not be of help, but if you could get in touch with our Team via a support ticket (http://www.topcashback.co.uk/Help/54), we can then look into this in more detail for you and advise further.

@elle may, the rate shown on the page when purchasing would have included the extra 10% top up that we were offering over the weekend, if the cashback has not tracked at the rate showing though, then I would suggest lodging a claim for an incorrect transaction via the Customer Care section of your account.

@B_M, could you email me at mse@topcashback.co.uk with the transaction details? I can take a look into this for you.

    Many thanks,
    Samantha
