Please may i ask what site do you qualify for love2shop vouchers? I am registered on just about everything else!

I got mine by signing up for the talktalk broadband + phone deal .. i think it was on the MSE email about 2-3 months ago and you got £70 cashback in vouchers for doing it (so it's a one-off for me, but very welcome!)

thanks MrsCautious I suppose you are right - it's still money saved isn't it! x will undo my signature again :)

Welcome ZXJon. I am not sure whether you know, but as you have come into May half way, there is also a June thread up and running if you want to get a feel for things and then set yourself a budget in time for the start of June. Obviously it's entirely up to you.

    Good luck.

Although I find it a lot harder to cook when the weather gets warmer as don't feel like stews, mash etc.

I too find it hard now with the warmer weather coming to plan meals, DH & kidlets are bad eaters at the best of times. Some nights DH won't eat anything (falls asleep as soon as he sits down or has eaten lunch late) therefore the meal goes into the fridge for his lunch the next day.

Summer meals end up being cold meat and salad, Pasta or BBQ. Not much variation in that!!

    Hi everyone,

Went to Co$tco today for work and got a few things for us too ;) Large pack of Swedish meatballs which we will have on Thursday - £3.79 from GC for those. 40 loo rolls, 48 juice cartons, 24 cans of pep$i max and 20 packs of yog fruit flakes from 2nd purse.

HM cottage pie tonight using turkey mince, leeks from the garden and anything else in the fridge I can use up! Used up the spring onions in salad Sunday/yesterday, plus have harvested 2 crumbles worth of rhubarb which I have stewed and frozen - DS2 will be thrilled NOT!

    Off to update sig.
