Coxy, can you put me down for £185 again? I think this is the lowest I'm going to be able to go for now.

Won't be starting til Thursday when I get paid so fingers crossed I keep within April's budget ;)

This covers the usual - food, toiletries & household stuff for me, OH and the cat, with eating out & alcohol coming from a separate budget.

£280 for me please. This seems a reasonable figure for the 4 of us including nappies, toiletries, cleaning products, as long as I'm careful :)

I have actually come in under budget for April woo!

I am going to set the May budget for £450. Have still got to plan the months menu (DH gets paid on Thursday) but unlike this month there is only one meal out and a lot less birthday celebrations lol.

Thank you for all who make this threat possible behind the scenes and those who give advice and keep me on the straight and narrow :)

My previously veg n fruit phobic 3 year old has turned into a fruit monster so am taking full advantage of aldi super 6 stuff! Lol x
  • Hi can you put me down for £45 please. I did try £40 last month but i had so many coupons to use up i failed by £9.95. This month should be doable as i really dont need much. My freezers bursting as are my cupboards and im really trying to get it down to £45 but by eating healthily. Im tending to buy too much YS veg and having to throw some away. I would like to get it down to £40 per month but i really dont think that is doable. Has anyone here managed on £10 per week (just for one person).

Still suffering workmen in the house - can't find a thing!
Dinner was pizza with HM wedges + cauliflower + baked beans. Had to boil saucepans + kettle of water to wash up - no hot water until tomorrow.
