I've been here for a while although still relatively new to the forum and with so much to see, I've only just come across this thread! It's definitely a great idea and I love the huge list of suggested meals too :-)
I will need to some thinking and come back to post my budget!
(I've recently planted some veg in my first attempt at reducing my grocery bills. Naturally, it will be a fair while before I actually reap the rewards but I'm very excited now that the first seedlings are appearing!)0 -

Me and the little ones (DS & DD) have attempted to be greenfingered too. We currently have tomatos, peppers, cucumber, potatos, onions and carrots on the go:eek:. Think we've bitten more off than we can chew but heyho, we can but try!!Christmas budget £266.38/£535 15/27gifts

Yay! OH has just had his May pay so our month will last from today April 19th to May 17th.
Please put me down for £250
I think I'm being a bit too optimistic this month. It's my birthday tomorrow so we will be going out for a meal then next week my inlaws will be staying so my shopping will automatically go up with them here, not to mention we'll probably eat out.
I have a good stock cupboard but my freezers are run down for the most part (starting to wonder if I'll ever get through the 5kg of white fish though!). In our house it's me, OH, our 20 month son, 3 dogs and 2 cats.Wife and mother :jGrocery budget
