I said my May count will start on Friday but I went to buy a loaf of bread yesterday and there was loads of YS meat so I'm putting that on my May total now. I only bought it because it was reduced and I won't be eating it until May.0 -
Hi all i'm back again and hoping to keep up with this challenge in May as I found it such a good way of saving money. I have stayed aware of what I have been spending on my saddo spreadsheet but it really has worked miracles with my spends. Anyhow can I be put down for £320 please? I will start May budget on the 30th of April.0

Thanks Coxy, £130 again please.
This is my second month, I'm £108/£130, so should make it by the 30th. I normally spend over £200, so I'm well pleased at that this thread has kept me on the straight and narrow! Thanks everyone xSave £12k in 2022 thread #7:

May starts for me tomorrow (25th=payday for me and OH), can I be put down for £250.
thanks, and good luck to everyone. I'm really hoping I can come in under budget this month with a bit of meal planning, shopping lists and willpower!
My budget is for me, OH, pet food and supplies for the cat and all cleaning products, tolietries etc. Doesn't include take-aways as that comes out of a seperate budget....0 -
Hi, May doesn't start until next weds for me but can I go down for £410 please?1% at a time no. 40. £8000 (For dream family holiday) 94/100
MFW 2013 no. 62 £10,000/£10,000
MFW 2014 no 62 £8000/£70000 -
My budget for May is £211.50 - and before the month even starts I have to say I expect to go waaay over this.
I've got two food festivals in the month (one on 3rd and one on 26th), so will be stocking up on really good quality meats and hard goats cheese (one of very few cheeses I can eat without any problem since developing lactose intolerance, but can't get a decent one anywhere local to home). At least I've got around £100 in reserve from the first few months of the year ready to put towards this
Debated adding my 'spare money' to the monthly budget, but decided that would just encourage me to spend every penny of it without considering each purchase carefully... so I'm going to play this the way I think will work best for me.Cheryl0 -
