Please can I join?
Normally I would start from payday but as I am doing a big shop tomorrow I will start my month early this time around. My month will be just over 5 weeks ending on 28th May.
Just 2 of us - I will go for £2500 -
Hi - my month starts on 23rd - can I go for £220 again - didn't make my target in April but can see areas where I've gone wrong so fingers crossed for May.
It's 2 adults, 2 kids (9 and 7) and 2 cats and includes all food and household goods.0 -
We use £10 a day as a guide spend for the four of us. Me, OH, DS1 is 14 and DS2 is 7.
Grocery spend includes all food, drink, cleaning products and toiletries. In May I'm going to try and use the supermarket less but shop at the markets and indie shops more.
I'm going from 26th April until 30th May so my May budget is £350.0 -
As I have been adept at managing on less in my food budget just lately please can you put me down for £60.00 for May.I am so pleased at how things are going. By shopping less and using stuff up better I have cut my food purse right back. Its been good for my waistline as well as my purse is fatter and my waist is getting thinner as I'm not wasting cash on buying unnessesary stuff0

Hi all,
Can,t beleive this months going so fast - Inhave been rubbish at keeping an eye on spending, but I have been paying cash and still have about £20 in my purse for next 10 days.
Can you put me down for £300 for May please.Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!
£300/£1300 -
Many thanks to all who keep this challenge going and to everyone who participates.
I am going to go for £220 again for May please - however its a 5 week month plus our daughters birthday and although she has flowers put on her grave every week they are a bit more special in May. If I do go over then I would like the total spends less the flowers to be within this £220 (does that make sense, it does to me) I also want to try and boost the % of money we spend on fruit & veg, it is already the largest % but sometimes only just and there is plenty of room for improvement here.
Good luck everyone, not over on here till the first but hope those that are have a good start.MARCH £62.38/2500 -
Looks like I will be under budget for April, and the freezer is still full!
We are out on a few trips this month, and have company for a week or so. I'm estimating a 'normal spend' month, so £150 should do us.Swagbucks Amazon gift vouchers 2014 125/250
