So that's me done for April. I can declare at £195.82 for the month, just under my £200 target, less than half of what I was spending on groceries for the three of us and the dog, without thinking about it a few months ago.
Thank you for all the help for me to do that x
Wow, for 3+dog thats brilliant - any tips?0 -
Declaring £386.53/£350, so an overspend of £36.53, finishing with a NSD. Not happy as i upped the amount this month due to birthdays and half term, and still went over. This month i am trying not to get roped into deals and coupons unless i actually need them. I am another food hoarder, and would like to become the opposite.
Tea tonight was Jamaican chicken, green beans and sweet potato chips which was lovely.
Off over to May GC, good luck all!

This was my first month. I'm £13 overspent, but I'm really working to an annual rather than monthly budget. I've saved about £70 on my usual spend, so thanks to all of you for keeping me on the straight and narrow!

I came under budget this month i aimed for £200 as I've previously been spending around £250 - £300 a month far too much. I need to aim to spend about £25 a week if i want to save some cash for holiday.
My total spend for the month was £160.38. I'm gonna aim to spend £150 next month.0 -

Thank you, do you think? I'm thinking we could go a fair bit lowerI have surprised myself, I think we are eating better than we were before, I've just lost a long post I'd written with some tips, £&@"!? phone, I will pop back tomorrow and list some things we have changed again. I can bore for England on the subject, one thing I would say though is that although toiletries and cleaning stuff are included in this, I've cut right down to use up what we have xxx
