    Funnily enough, the usual Sunday night feeling of doom hasn't hit........because it's a bank holiday tomorrow. Wahoo :T:j:T:j:T:j:T:j:T:j:T

    Today
    * £4.99 in H0me Barg@ins on washing powder and kitchen rolls
    * £1 cash on a small notebook in Wilk0, all the others I'd got were too big for my handbag. I'm sick of having little bits of paper shoved in my bag with things to remember or people's phone numbers so this will help, providing I use it ;)
    * £34 spent online with Wilk0s via TCB. I've ordered curtains and a lampshade for the spare room, but the lamp I wanted is out of stock. The carpet is being fitted in 10 days and then all I need to do is paint the chest of drawers and headboard and sort out a wardrobe. My bedroom looks hideous in comparison now so I might have to target that next!
    * £32.96 spent online with Z00plus via TCB. My cat has his own savings account so he's paid :rotfl::A I got some dry food, a placemat and a blingy new collar
    * Another tip run. Just call me St1g of the Dump :p:D
    * PA survey
    * Youg0v survey
    * VO survey and reached payout so a £15 Am@zon voucher redeemed
    * 180SB earned and a £5 Am@zon voucher redeemed
    * £1.01 sweep into my FD savings account
    * £1.48 sweep into my overpayments account

    Nighty night :)

    Hi Ena, I've just read your diary from the beginning and it's awesome. I have no idea how you manage to find the time to do all those surveys. Congratulations on getting so far in such a short space of time, a fantastic achievement! And a massive well done to you for sticking with your job. If I hated mine that much I'm afraid my personality is such that I would just walk out one day and not give a hoot about the consequences. But you're totally doing the right thing. Use it for what you can get out of it, bide your time and put up with it until you're in the best financial position possible and then leave it all behind. That time will come. Just hang on in there.

    I'm not keen on my job either. I have days where I hate it and want out but for the most part it's tolerable. I aim to start looking for something else next year though when I return from my cruise (hopefully debt-free :)) but in the meantime I've been doing lots of the free online Open University courses and the odd bit of volunteering... just to give me a few more options when it comes to deciding where I want to go next :)

    Good luck with the rest of your journey. I'm subscribing so that I can tag along with you :)

    Ah thanks Betty, good to have you along :) Doing surveys is a way of life now :rotfl::D

    Re: the job. I wish I could just leave and to hell with it but I'm a bit of a scaredy cat and a bit too sensible to do that. I think if I was younger or didn't have a mortgage, I would. But yep, I'm stuck for now, pumping them for all I can get, biding my time and then I can go and not look back :)

    Thanks for the heads up about the free OU courses, I'll check them out. That's great you're doing hem and volunteering.....more strings to your bow for when you leave. Next year is going to be good for both of us :T:)

    Well seeing as it was St@r W@rs day, and May the 4th be with you and all that, the force was certainly with me as I worked very hard tidying one of our clinical rooms. It's always a bit messy and the cupboards are stuffed full of stock so we can never see what we've got, more stock gets ordered and so on. I've been turning a blind eye for too long but today, due to a few cancellations and missed appointments, I had 3 and a half hours to blitz it. I was like the Tasmanian devil whizzing round and now it looks so much better and we can actually see what we've got. So much money is tied up in that stock and some of it has close expiry dates but I've redistributed quite a lot to other clinics so hopefully it'll be used. Some of it was ridiculous. We use a bottle of gel maybe every 8 weeks and I found 75 bottles!! !!!!!!! And 29 packs of detergent wipes! I wish I was as tidy at home as I am at work :rotfl::D

    Evening :) We're so very close to Friday and then the weekend :T:j

    Today
    * £15.75 in Sainsbobs for flowers and biscuits to take to my friends house
    * 2 PA surveys and a £22.97 payout requested
    * i-S@y survey
    * Youg0v survey
    * 11p sweep into my overpayments account
    * £1.90 sweep into my FD savings account

    Not a lot to report really. I went to see my friend who lost her new husband recently :A She's doing ok and it was lovely to give her a big hug. Unfortunately she's got a little debt from the wedding so I've offered to help go through her bills and make sure she's on the best deals etc, and pass on what I've learnt :) I have got a couple of items to put on eb@y for her to start the ball rolling. :T

    I'm looking forward to Facepack Friday :D Anything to do with a Friday is good with me :rotfl:

    Hi Ena, you do so well with surveys!! I only do swags atm, but am looking to do more. How long do you spend on surveys a day? Just during tv time?

    I'm so sorry to hear about your friend's husband :( what is life when people can be taken so soon. I'm sure she's glad she has a friend like you around her.

    I have Facepack Sundays, but Facepack Friday sounds better :D I like to walk around and scare my brothers when I have mine on, gives me a laugh :rotfl:

    It's almost the weekend!! :dance:

    Hi CB. I am quite lucky with the surveys really but I only do them when I'm watching telly. Occasionally I can do them at work but not all are compatible with my mobile so that's a help. I know there's a lot more survey sites but I'm happy with the ones I've got. SB is a bit of a love hate thing but I have done well out of them!

    It's nearly the weekend again! And Facepack Friday! Try yours this Friday, it's the 13th! Doubly scary for your brothers :rotfl:
