Thanks DIA. There's a local food festival again this weekend so I might have to go
Thanks, I do feel ok and quite positive. I'm down to the one CC now so I'll spend the next few months building savings and as the time is going on, it feels like the debt will go and I will leave the hateful job! Getting quite excited at times but it's still a way off yet so I must calm down :rotfl:

Hello hello. My first day back wasn't too bad today...........2 more days to get through now
I'm absolutely dreading next week though as we have a new computer system coming and I predict it will not go smoothly. It's already been put back a few times but they seem confident it will go live on Monday. If there was ever a right time to break my arm, please let it be in the next 4 days
:D

I've been thinking about a time when my debt is paid and becoming a MFW and I've worked out my daily interest on my mortgage, just to see. You might be thinking, wow, she's clever, how did she she work that out cause it's all very confusing with interest rates etc :rotfl: Well, I'll tell you. I just looked online at my mortgage yesterday and then again today and ta-da.........its £4.24. That works out to be roughly £129 per month so I put that in the mortgage overpayment calculator and it would knock 6 years off. Total motivation for getting debt free so I can overpay the mortgage.Debt Apr 15 - £6895.44Apr 17 - £2500

Hi Ena, we too have a new computer system coming in soon. I got lucky and happened to be out if the country when it comes in so hopefully will miss the worst of it!! Hope you don't actually break your arm but manage to avoid it somehow hehe.
I know what you mean about mortgages, I've just upped my payments by £50 a month and it'll take 8 years off my term. I could've thrown that at my unsecured debt but feel good for doing a bit of mortgage busting. It keeps the motivation up! Even though interest rates are low it still adds up alarmingly fast!0 -
Ena you're so good with the swags, I've had little to no motivation at the moment to do it, I find the surveys so tedious now!!! What is your secret?0

Ah that is lucky for you. If I didn't have to give so much notice I would have booked a few days off tooMy arm didn't break but as I kind of suspected, it all went wrong and I couldn't log on the system anyway. I don't really have to worry until Thursday now so a few days reprieve
That is quite a saving, well done. I think I need another play with that calculator nowDebt Apr 15 - £6895.44Apr 17 - £2500

Oh yeah, it's definitely tedious and it can be so hit and miss. Some days I get loads of surveys that are quick and other days I struggle. I only do them if I'm watching telly and I do give it a miss sometimes, like if i'm late home. I always get Am@zon vouchers as you can buy everything pretty much on there and it frees up my cash for debts and other things and ultimately I'm desperate to get debt free so I can leave my job. Every survey I do gets me closer to that so I carry on. I can't remember what my pre-survey days were like now :eek::rotfl:Debt Apr 15 - £6895.44Apr 17 - £2500

Hola. Just a quick check in tonight
Friday 3rd June
* £30 on fuel
* £7.20 on lunch and some snacks for work
* £46.90 in M0rrisons on a few groceries and drinks and a £25 iTun3s voucher for father's day
* VO survey
* Youg0v survey
* 309SB earned and 180SB from the May bonus......a bumper day :j
Saturday
* NSD
* PA survey
* 92SB earned
* 90p sweep into my overpayments account
Sunday
* £10.50 spent at a craft fair where my friend had a stall and I'd gone to give her some support. I got a couple of craft items and a gorgeous handmade cat collar
* £42 in N3xt Home. I only popped in to see some lamps that I'd spotted on their website so I'm a bit annoyed with myself but not enough to take the stuff backI did buy some lamps for my bedside tables a few weeks ago but even though they are beautiful, they are just a bit too small for the boutique hotel bedroom look I'm going for. They've gone in the spare room and look lovely. Anyway, back to my lamps
They are flipping gorgeous but £60 each. I've got £50 Christmas present money that I'd saved and I'll probably get £40 for my birthday (standard parent gift) so £30 difference isn't too horrendous. But huzzah, if I sign up for an account, I can get another £10 off for placing my first order. I've never had a N3xt account as previously it used to be a credit account and I didn't want a credit search or the temptation of a credit limit, but the guy said you can just order and pay straight away now so I'll order them in a couple of weeks
* 1 item listed on Shp0ck
* i-S@y loyalty reward points added
* 29SB earned
Today
* £31.14 in T3sco, a big stock up and a few YS things
* 2 PA surveys
* Youg0v survey
* i-S@y survey
* VO survey
* 201SB earned and a £5 Am@zon voucher redeemed. 49 of those were earned yesterday but they didn't credit so I raised a ticket and they credited them today. It's happened before but I just gave up so I'm glad I bothered now :T
