Just watched the program on iplayer. I missed it yesterday.
Really liked the people and all the sewing. I wish tv would show more craft shows. The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)0 -
I thought the lady who went home ill the first week was going to be in the second episode? Wonder what happened to her?0

Thanks to OP for posting this, I was oblivious and have now watched the first episode with a cuppa, splendid viewing!0

I'm watching it now on iPlayer. It really makes me want to drag my sewing machine out of retirement and learn dressmaking properly - I dabbled a few years ago but never really got the hang of it.
Anyone bought the book? Is it worth buying?0 -

I thought that too, but as they have to get rid of two every week, and last week they only eliminated one, I presume that she had forfeited her place by being ill.Poppy_Golightly wrote: »So sorry to see Mark go, a very talented man.

Absolutely loving this show, best thing on telly all week.
I have never ever made anything like this but would love to learn.
I have recently really got into crafting, cross stitch and crochet especially so would love to add this to my list.
I would love to attend a sewing or crafting group as well, going to have a look if anything is available in the Greater Manchester Area.Started Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

I really enjoyed it surprisingly. Claudia Winkleman seems to get on with the people in it, and seems really natural with them [if that doesn't sound alike a load of old...]
I really like what Stuart [is it] was doing. He seems to have a bit more flair, less ability technically, but as far as embellishing goes, and style, he's got it
