well I think that she's great and my personnal theory on the fringe is that without it she's the spit of her Mum and she probably wants to be known as her own person
Looking forward to a sewing programme but think it'll be even more difficult to pitch it t a level to please all than cookery0 -
One of the presenters is a lady called May Martin who is very experienced and runs a lot of sewing classes for beginners.I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Looks great and I may be in the minority, but I love Claudia0

Yep loved it. Already a couple of messages from friends asking me about where to start sewing!!! I am a font of knowledge...apparently.... Even OH loved it and watched it really interested in it! Don't know if I'd get him sewing though.....that dress from the steampunk was fab!!! Might even get the old sewing machine out myself - although I'm more of a hand sewing, even curtains. I know...odd....:DBut I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green0 -
Thought it was going to be a disaster but the entire family enjoyed it, even hubby who spent the first five minutes taking the mick then settled into it and finally had to admit it was good! Made a refreshing change to watch something different instead of yet another reality programme! I love sewing and have made a career out of it so found it very interesting. I have to say though if that's the best sewers the UK has to offer its a bit of a worry!
