Oops, missed that, worth repeating though.

The points may be worse, but at least they are still being collected is the way I look at it. Better than the Sainsburys Visa offer!

Now you are getting 2 points per £1 on all purchases not just those in the nectar club.

depending on how much you spend this may offset the £25 charge which equates to 5000 points.

I've just applied for the free card online which will automatically replace the current card which I can use until the new card arrives.

If I had large spend on my card I would consider it, but as I don't it's not worth the hassle. I just about hit £500 a month.
I get 1000 points for £500 spend now (thanks to More points), so it's going to be worse for me which ever way you look at it.

Didn't use mine much, plain cashback is better, so I just cancelled my card. Not worth £25 per annum. The Santander 123 card IS worth £24 per annum.

I plan to go for the free card and use it just for Foursquare and other AMEX benefits. The rest of my spend would be better off on my Tesco card than with 1 Nectar point per pound or either 2 with the £25 fee.
