I'll get a smaller car then.I wouldn't bother - British garages stayed imperial when the car-making world went metric so the one doesn't fit inside the other
I hate the idea that a car parked outside is an indicator if I'm there/not. Kind of a security thing. No car = house empty. And, get the right garage, it's a space for other important stuff/things.0 -

The only time I ever parked in front of our house was when we lived on a road that had a gate (yes, I know, posh alert).
Everywhere else we've always parked around the corner so nobody would know f we were there or not.
The one time we owned a garage, the shared driveway was no narrow we'd struggle to get even a small car down it.There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

Must be, the number's dropped another couple since then.
(This is #9949, will it stay that way?)...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
