the only thing which is really annoying is that scissors don't work very well in your left hand even if the grip is ambidextrous. apart from that nothing actually bothers me, although when i mess up cutting up a roast joint or a loaf of bread i always blame the right-handed knife...
Scissors are probably an exception. There will be some things that are left-biased....

In the labs at my school we have trays of scissors for the use of kid who haven't brought their own, if the lesson requires any cutting of paper. We have red handled ones that are right handed, and yellow/green handled ones that are left handed. So you'd be provided for if you were cutting paper in my lesson. :)
We never had to take scissors to school - and I'm surprised that any school would have kids wandering about the streets and on public transport with scissors... what if they RUN????

I told doozer girl I bought it from the toy store meaning dog toy store and I think it all got a little confusing

On stepping onto ice rinks, do NPs move to the right or left (and are you right- or left-handed).i.e do you go clockwise or anti-clockwise as seen from above.

Realise this might get no answers as there are very few ice rinks in our general neck of the woods
I've been twice. The answer is: you're told which direction to go in - and every 45 minutes or so the music stops and you have to go the other way round. Unless you're at the Eden Project where you book a 45 minute slot that has a start/end time then it's cleared and the next batch come in. No idea what they do there....

It's always anti clockwise at both my local rinks.

Dare I ask which would be the nearest (nobody has to answer this if this is awkward in any way)?

Possibly impossible question.... DH wants to learn to play the guitar. He is left handed. Doesn't play. Has had one quick lesson, with a right-handed guitar playing left handed, picked it up quite well though a bit unweildy. What's the best way to go. Learn right handed? Buy left handed guitar? Play a right handed guitar left handed? I've never played a guitar so no clue here.

DS1's first guitar was a right handed one strung left handedly. It was a classic guitar so virtually symmetrical as far as I can remember. His second guitar was electric and a proper left handed one. Then DS2 developed an interest, so I had to get another classical guitar - right handed, then an electric one, that was a cheapie from Argos beginners guitar. Then his teacher suggested he needs a better one, so I bought a fender second hand. A few months later he stopped lessons.

I'm sure DS1 wants to sell his guitars......

It's well known that some women have regular cycles and others don't. The regular types presumably aren't affected by anything and won't synchronise with other women, but perhaps the irregular women can be affected by various factors, and maybe synchronising with other women is one of the things that can do it.

You can be regular and influencable. I have one friend who I won't go near before holidays. Other people also claim that she has cycle altering powers. Now her daughter is post puberty, she also seems to have the same powers.
