Cheers. I realised I wasn't wasting my life enough so...

Your disguise is not that good - firstly because your username is a bit of a give away but more importantly, aside from chewie we haven't scaled the mountain that is humour very far in your absence...I think....0 -

On stepping onto ice rinks, do NPs move to the right or left (and are you right- or left-handed).i.e do you go clockwise or anti-clockwise as seen from above.
Realise this might get no answers as there are very few ice rinks in our general neck of the woods
i haven't been ice-skating but surely the answer to this question is that you go in the same direction as the other people who are already on the ice rink? i can't imagine that insisting on going anti-clockwise when there are already lots of people going clockwise is very good for your health.0 -

You are right. Have you seen which direction people are usually going on ice rinks? On telly or movies? There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

Still pops in....
Pops in but doesn't post anything, by the looks of his profile.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

I think last time I went it was anticlockwise. Can't be sure I'm remembering correctly, though. That was in November 2011.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Not infants an adorable nearly 8 year old who has a zest for everything, and told us today that when she grows up she wants a tattoo and to be a burglar.
Her sister is 12 and deliberately miserable, with ostentatious sulks and overt spoiling tactics. However we knew what we getting into so the day was fine.I now have 1.5 kilos (approx 3.5lbs) of raspberries. I fear this is rather a lot of raspberries and I have yet to weigh the gooseberries. we don't eat a lot of jam so that's out but I was wondering if cordials is a good idea? Probably raspberry and gooseberry. Can you whizz gooseberry into a smoothie?
Any other ideas? Something without pips would be best as I hate finding them in my molars.
Raspberry soup. It was after eating this I developed an allergy to to raspberries. Blew up like a ribena berry man. Eyelids and lips swollen and a course of anthistamines to reduce me back to normal.PasturesNew wrote: »I asked because my siblings are lefties.... You lot have been very productive today and I cannot catch up tonight.
Did not wear a hat/sun screen on the ferry (outside deck) or in the sea.
Have a face like a tomato:mad: Yep. This could be a photograph.
Had a fantastic day on a very quiet lovely beach. I cannot believe how little we have done this day trip. When DD was a child we did ponies so that took up all of our time, so we did holidays but not 'days out'.
Will be doing it again though as it felt like a real holiday..and timeless..it could have been 1965 or so.0 -
Lightning and booming, low, long thunder outside... not here, but a few miles away.0
