Meant not much got done here and by the time it came to getting supper DH found me with my head in my arms saying li just didn't care, I was too tired, I didn't see why people had to eat all the time when I cannot and I was still really tired. ( DH copes poorly with little sleep so one night at home after a tough week was hard enough for him. ) d pointed out this is what junk food is actually for with an evil glint in his eye, but then made pasta while I had a shower. That starch feels good. Our dogs' routine is that the earliest we ask them for a last widdle is about half ten, so we are going to set an alam in case we fall asleep before then. Very stressed about lack of stuff done today:(
It's OK to opt out for a bit, especially if you haven't had adequate sleep. I know it's very important to you to keep going, but sometimes you have to accept that your body is telling you it needs rest and it isn't going to take no for an answer. Hope you get more sleep soon. When will big dog finish being in season so kiwi can go back to his usual sleeping arrangements?Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

A hundred quid for a pair of knackered shoes...? I'm clearly missing something. Is that like Gentlemen buying 2nd hand lady underpants?0 -
Speaking of price differentials
A fascinating subject.
If PN could expand her jewellery making skills to include watch refurbishment and repair we could all make a fortune.
I often buy high end watches (usually Cartier and vintage Omega) overseas and resell here, or vice versa, to take advantage of arbitraging exchange rate and desirability differentials. (I stay away from Rolex and newer Omega as the market is flooded with really good fakes.)
If I was any good at watch repair and so willing to buy moderately damaged ones, I could double profits.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

Yes, it's exactly what you think it is.
What's even worse, is that I read there's a specialist sub-set which involves shoes that have been used by ladies to crush bugs. Which reach exorbitant money if the video of the bug crushing is included.
Unbelievably weird.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
