    Water back on! Phew!

. Anyone want a puppy? In the theme of labradoodle or coo kapoo name would be sweet if a tragedy has occurred. :(.

In all earnestness, I think it might have to be a doggy abortion if its the case. :(. QUOTE]

Why would it have to be the case?

You like puppies. Just think of all the joy you get from kiwi.

There have been a few minor hurties (is that even a word?) but this is more for his mental state and anxiety levels plus hopefully a referral to CAMHS.

I am sorry he is going through such an unhappy patch..poor you and poor him.

Big dog has a health problem, one of the reasons I have ended up with her is that she couldn't be bred from. One of the reasons she wasn't spayed when younger was she she had lots of other ops. The plan was to spay last time and then this spring, but every time she was booked in she had a tummy upset, then it was too late in her cycle to be ideal so we have had to wait For next cycle twice! It's not a problem that impacts too much on her now, her health thingy, nor a 'breed issue' but it is inheritable. It's not 'the end of the world' but it would not be responsible to breed from her knowing her pups, even had they been beautifully pure bred and highly desirable, might have a problem.

She's also not a young dog. It's a shame, she would have loved puppies. Goodness only knows what they would look like

It's ok. I do like puppies. One is enough though! Our last big dog breed litter was 14. Big dogs have to have a 'mid wife in attendance for a minimum of a fortnight....though she'd be a loving mother big dogs have a terrible habit of squashing their litters because they are so big.:o

This is what I'd do if I won the Euro millions: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2371552/Pirates-Cambridgeshire-Millionaire-creates-60-acre-Challis-treasure-island-English-countryside.html

Or, if I had LIR's cake (and money spare to do something daft) I'd do this on a smaller scale round the edge.

I haven't the slightest idea why people watch BB. It just seems to be about really dull, awful people sitting around. Yet, the mystery remains that some people get really excited about it.

It's a way of killing time watching other people basically killing time.

It's probably all "temporary structures", no actual buildings with foundations. You'd never get building regs for those....

I took time out early this morning to make a batch of salad stuff. Made a potato salad, pasta/mayo and boiled 2 eggs. It was all gone by mid afternoon..... own food = eat food.

Opposite happened here. After a week of pretty poor sleep with kiwi last night was better but not enough, and I reached end of tether. Three hours sleep. Meant not much got done here and by the time it came to getting supper DH found me with my head in my arms saying li just didn't care, I was too tired, I didn't see why people had to eat all the time when I cannot and I was still really tired. ( DH copes poorly with little sleep so one night at home after a tough week was hard enough for him. ) d pointed out this is what junk food is actually for with an evil glint in his eye, but then made pasta while I had a shower. That starch feels good. Our dogs' routine is that the earliest we ask them for a last widdle is about half ten, so we are going to set an alam in case we fall asleep before then. Very stressed about lack of stuff done today:(

Possibly impossible question.... DH wants to learn to play the guitar. He is left handed. Doesn't play. Has had one quick lesson, with a right-handed guitar playing left handed, picked it up quite well though a bit unweildy. What's the best way to go. Learn right handed? Buy left handed guitar? Play a right handed guitar left handed? I've never played a guitar so no clue here.

We are getting a lot of nimby comments to our plans including 'I hear the property will be rented which will not fit in with the current community'

I enjoyed the first series when I think the 'contestants' did not go in (and therefore self select) on the basis that is was a ticket to minor celebdom - they certainly used to wear more clothes. I have just finished reading Ben Elton's Dead Famous, I have little time for his 'literary' style but it was a nice parody of the BB format.

You need to be like me and have a nap at work...and for the stress/guilt all I can say is 'over-acheiver'. Try a bit of Mindfulness, you have much to be thankful for.
    I think....
