How about have a street party ever we fancy one? Being the only people in The street and all? We could have it in our lay by, but tend to just have a cuppa tea in the garden. :rotfl:

Perhaps not, but I did feel pretty good about myself in morrisons in Leeds.0 -
Well the zumba is finished, the fire engine has been and gone, the barbecue has been digested, the cakes are being eaten, the kids are scooting, cycling, chalking the street, playing table tennis and table football and surprisingly many are in our paddling pool out front or the pool at the back...whilst the adults are kicking back with cold beer listing to the band doing their first set. If Carlsberg did street parties....I think....0

I've just been in watching the tennis today, but that's been nice too.“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0 -
My Dad just rang to say he's around later, and could he drop in to say hello. I forgot to ask how he happened to be "passing" Clerkenwell from 60 miles away in rural Kent!...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

Official letter arrives from next door's insurer. Our trees could be disturbing their foundations so could we please remove them!
Neighbours don't want us to touch our trees, but to ask insurers for proof that our trees are causing damage.

We don't have them annually, but we do have customary barbaques with several neighbours occasionally.
