FWIW I am aware the above post makes me sound like the complete child that I am!It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0

Same here. The only thing that would have made it better would have been a Webber win. It would have been nice for that to happen in his adopted home country and if a Brit couldn't win, Webber is always the next best option as far as the crowd is concerned. I like Webber. He's very honest and would make a great commentator.
Scary news re Pirelli coming out this evening. Don't know how they are going to sort that out given that the next GP is the coming weekend. Hopefully Gary Anderson is right and it was the kerbs in turn 4. It can't even be a dodgy batch: both options and primes did it!

Seems that the likeliest explanation is that kerb, given we haven't had those specific issues with cuts in the sidewall causing catastrophic failure of the complete tyre elsewhere.
A shame for Pirelli after they seemed to be getting on top of the previous delamination issue.
Not sure Germany will be a problem.
Spa might be more of an issue with high speed loading though.
If I were a driver I'd sure as hell not be happy to take Eau Rouge/Raidillon flat-out on the tyres used today at Silverstone.
Suspect there will be much grumbling from the GPDA before Spa unless it's conclusively proved it was the kerbs, and rightly so.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

Not a single room in this house except our bedroom, the bathroom and the down stairs loo comply.
I'm clutching at straws and I'm looking at the under stairs cupboard.
Why on earth is that the case?
Perhaps you could, rather temporarily, "decommission" a door. Put a nice bolt on it, or something.lostinrates wrote: »No, it's a requirement for the thing I need to tick a box for. It never needs to be turned on even, but does have to be installed. We have an old rad. It's just the cost of the plumber and the surface mounted paperwork till we get to that part of the house.
Plug in oil radiator. You don't actually have to plug it in much.
PN - I'm awake, too. Massively busy week coming up in terms of work - first one, really, since the trial ended at Easter. Since then, things have been quieter. Now they are less quiet!
Roasted tomatoes are a wonderful thing....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

I've bought lots of lemons in the last year - made a couple of batches of lemon biscuits, and lemonade.lemonjelly wrote: »I'm guessing here, approximately 35-40 at the mo. I've given away 60 so far, & will be giving away another 12 this week.
THat's a lot of tomato puree in your freezer in the autumn, then!lemonjelly wrote: »FWIW I am aware the above post makes me sound like the complete child that I am!
Good. The dullest people tend to be those who've forgotten being a child, IMO....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

We actually have to have a plumbed in rad there. The one door thing seems so odd, Even in the old dairy I'd have to be in a cupboard( the main room there has three doors to outside and the door to the 'cupboard'.
We'll have to have some sort of consultant with a clip board prowl around too ...so he'll probably pick the bed place.0 -
I'm starting a 3 day High Court trial tomorrow - and I'm scared!...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

It's the summer and his hair makes up a considerable fraction of his body volume. So this should keep him cool. Also easier to bathe him if he rolls in unspeakable foulness
I had to do the same with one of mine, the one with the collapsed trachea. She has obvious problems if she pants too much, gets too stessed to go to a groomers, so I 'attacked' her with scissors - heck, she looks cute now and her nickname is now Little bear.:o
@michaels we have a 57 plate Vito which has had no problems apart from an alternator and associated wiring - original engine and gearbox and otherwise a good motor. Rider is that we do motorway mileage rather than round town mileage.
Good luck NDG, trust me the people you represent and the little people on the opposition's side are far more scared of you! I had to employ a barrister once and she scare the heck out of me, but she was very good!0
