Re office, could you move the door of the live-in parent's bedroom .... and make a 4' square office on the landing? It's got a window....0

Klean prep.
Why are things meant to be more fun or less offensive if you replace a c with a k or an s with a z?0 -

That's what I had (both times) + something else
I left the bathroom light on that night. As I mentioned, I also travelled the entire metropolitan line the next morning. Definitely didn't fall asleep during those journeys!0 -
Did a couple of hours gardening this morning before lazing in front of the TV watching an incredible day of sport. Started off with yesterday's motoGP from Assen, then the amazing GP from Silverstone, athletics from Brum and the highlights of the Tour de France. Just trying to decide. Do I finish off with the Confederation Cup Final or switch to Bobby Womack at Glasto? Thank goodness the wombles took a day off.
ETA: Bobby sounded a bit warbly, so Confederations Cup won. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Now there is an idea that makes the thought of going to a laundrette almost appealing
They had roadside posters advertising radio stations with light bulbs down the side that changed when different shows (news/music etc) came on.
They had booths (Personics booths) in record shops where you could make mixtapes from a catalogue of digital songs and they would print the covers for you on the spot. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
neverdespairgirl wrote: »How many tom plants in total do you have?
We have 4 big ones (in grow bags outside) and 4 little ones on our huge windowsill garden.
I'm guessing here, approximately 35-40 at the mo. I've given away 60 so far, & will be giving away another 12 this week.neverdespairgirl wrote: »Doesn't it depend what type of jelly? Mint and apple jelly would be green, but although quite high in sugar it also has vitamin C.
Of course, it goes without saying, I'd recommend lemon jelly...;)lostinrates wrote: »Wrong sort of jelly. I mean jello as opposed to fruit cheese/ membrillo or its lighter preserve cousin. For what it's worth I love the preserve jelly much better than jam. But like my jam I prefer a too soft set.
Miss kool's jelly is still the stuff of legends. When I make it we still call it misskooljelly.
misskooljelly sounds like we'd eloped!:rotfl:It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

:eek:I think I would lose weight after the first few days if jelly was the only option.

I tried cooking the fish dish GBD posted a month or so ago this week. Only I didn't have any garlic. To make up, I fried the onions etc in garlic butter.
I'm not a huge garlic fan tbh, so it didn't adversely affect me!It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
Things that make you happy:
Finding the bolts which means I'll be able to put my table football back together!
Delighted! Took it apart for the convenience of others. Put them in a "safe place". Searched everywhere about 6 weeks ago to no avail. Sat in a grup for 6 weeks. Found them by accident & am overjoyed as I can put the table back together again! It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0
