I didn't realise that was a possibility

I'm also thinking of you LIR so I have a joke:

How do you cure water on the brain?

With a tap on the head :)

I don't think it was a likelihood. But MRSA etc....you never know when you go in if you are coming out.

I have packed....pjs, a nighty, a knitted shrug, a warm wrap. A not warm wrap just for modesty and security and luxury. Flip flops (double as slippers was going to where them as shoes) because its raining I am wearing other shoes but have also packed wedges. Wash bag, my own small towel. If I feel nervous I will wear the wedges because I'll be taller. :D

Can I request the help of NP's please?
I need newspaper headlines/stories/links where benefit claimants are being bashed/blamed for the defecit etc.
    Kinda like this one:

    All links appreciated.
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

It's all me, me, me today.

Another question for NP (possibly especially Herts NP), how does one go about finding a reliable tax advisor (specialising in domestic property)?

Edit - I did like 'rule 12 above, it takes a bit of thought but it does make sense except in our supermarket that would mean eating TVs, socks, children's toys and gluten free and drinking mixers.

It depends really. I've used accountants a few times and if it's all quite simple I'd go with an accounting supermarket. Anything where you're trying to use complex ownership structures probably needs a top 100 firm (so called 50+50).

Rule 12 for us would be fruit 'n' veg, meat, milk, fish, ready meals and expensive cheese (the cheap stuff is in the aisles). Oh and sushi and hot BBQ chooks.

We don't really get much NFIs in Aussie supermarkets. A few cheap toys, pants 'n' socks and some seasonal tat. Fans in summer and heaters in winter. The stuff they have in Aldi is a bit alien to the Aussies. They quite like it though.

We don't really get BOGOF and stuff. I have seen 1c price reductions on a $5 product before now, more than once.

I shouldn't moan. The food is pricey but the quality is generally good, especially the red meat which is excellent. I paid $13 at the weekend for a good sized leg of lamb which is the sort of quality I'd hope for at Borough Market (almost). The cheese is dreadful though. Industrial pap. The local plastic cheddar is known as 'tasty' and the biggest brand is C00n  It bothers me every time I see it but AFAIK that's not a rude word here. I've been here long enough to here most of the racial insults.

'Long grass' is probably the most interesting racial insult. It implies that Indigenous Aussies lie in long grass sniffing petrol or drinking wine from a goon bag (the bag inside a box of wine). The politics of race here are very interesting here.

This is where crocs win. One pair of shoes would be good for all those situations.

It's miserably wet and cold here... but I do have to leave the house some time in the next 3 hours.... so not looking forward to that.

Dry here but def not as warm as it has been.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

So can one join these different libraries if one lives 'out of county'? Do you have to physically visit to sign up in the first place?

DS1 has managed to join loads of central London library. Not sure what grounds he used - works nearby/ graduate link from previous uni.

Good wishes to MsK and lir.

When I went in, I was told slippers had to be closed toe.
