Btw...
Was asked to describe a particular pain and could only think of a totally inappropriate comparison which is startlingly accurate. In the end I just went with ' really sore' and described the sensation not the comparison.
Am not thinking it was probably the right call but would have liked to see the consultants reaction.0 -

It certainly isn't. MIL has been in A&E since yesterday waiting for an urgent op. They have a surgeon but no anaesthetist. I will not be naming the hospital but it is cr*p:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:.
Will probably delete so pls don't quote. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Viva, hope all works out well.
. Have to say, it was crazy being in a. Waiting room for neurology with flickering lighting and something making feed back noise. I was really uncomfortable, and some poor guy who I am guessing might have been epileptic was having real beyond polite discomfort at the lighting. I felt really, really sorry for him, he looked really scared.

You might have thought that would be something that should be fixed quite quickly in a neurology dept... I'm guessing that's what treatment for epilepsy comes under.
Sorry to hear the tales of NHS woe. I can add another (less serious) one. My mum got a call last Wednesday offering her an appointment this Friday for the knee replacement she is waiting for. She got another call yesterday postponing itI'm sure it is just one of those things, but the thought of waiting for another 6 weeks (which is the new appointment she has been given) is tough.
Thoughts with you both, missk and viva.0 -
I'm shooing again. Chosen a loo this evening, now got to make the bath and sink and taps and shower decisions.
I think I like this tap. It looks good for blokes because it looks wide, so shaving should have elbow drip room. It's simple. It's just not like anything else we are looking at.0 -

This.
Being single is a huge bonus when it comes to bathrooms PN. I always have to share with grotty men, who seem to swim from shower to sink. I don't know how they get so much water everywhere, and the bath mat is always wringing wet. I really don't know how they do it. In the past I've done a full tarts wash and shave and foot scrub. and made only the tiniest fraction of water spill. Every thing I spill can be cleaned to almost dry with a wrung out face cloth. A dry one would dry it.0
