I can see why you like them.

There is a restaurant in London where the loos are divided into sexes only by the wall of water in which you wash your hands. My father inadvertently touched a woman's hands and sent her screaming from the loos in fear at the phantom male hands appearing.

I met a tap engineer/designer on Sunday night. A very jolly bloke who seemed completely unaware of the impact he had on some peoples' lives.

He designs for an Aussie company that sells everything from bargain basement to $1000s under different brands. He deliberately makes the cheaper stuff a bit crap.

That's worrying, choosing taps and shower fittings now. It's hard.

    Have bought that sink.

nimbyism misunderstood is being covered on all in the mind on radio four right now. It's often referred to on this board so I thought pretty on topic for out there, but off topic enough to only mention in here. E.g. They have measured 'physiological reaction' to wind turbine, with differences according to size, and whether they are moving or not. The idea is to see which is the least offensive way to build.

Notes.not over there either, banana (build absolutely nothing and nowheres) and pimbits......um...something like please build in my garden but not sure what.

So, following hot on the heels from some comedy on Friday night, I've been out solo to my first gig since becoming officially single again. Can tell I have a proper job as a) I'm not drunk and b) I kept thinking about work. Was good though :)

Edit: it also crossed my mind that I was missing newsnight!

    who did you go see?

Glad to hear that hospital visits generally went well (well had good outcomes). Chewey don't be alarmed, as michaels says, if there was someting urgentlty wrong they'd have done someething abojut it.
