I wouldn't, though, have bought it elsewhere, I went to Boots with the express intention of buying all 3.
Still, I've also got her a silver seahorse with a ruby eye, so I'm not being too mean.
I must make sure I don't tell Isaac though, or he'll repeat it at exactly the wrong moment.
He made everyone fall about at Easter when he and OH produced the Dead Sea mud stuff that my Mama likes, and Isaac said, "We bought it for you at the airport, Mum!"...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

So order the one, and if its not to your liking get a pudding. Not as cheap, no, but a solution.0 -

Exactly, so worth justifying the expense of a second course if it lets you try something you are curious about!:D0 -
I've asked one o
F my parents to take me to a hospital appt that I wpun't be able to drive after. I really try very hard to keep my parents out of my health stuff, for various reasons. This appt is mid week and I don't want to waste dh's holiday time on a mid week appt. parent is already winding me up about it. Grrrr. It would be so much easier if I could drive afterwards, even though I 'd still rather dh were there.0 -

In Aus we have a rather sensible rule that sick leave isn't just for when we're sick, it's also for if our OHs or kids are ill.
I worked for a woman whose husband looked after the kids while she went to work. He got sick for a couple of days (just a cold I think, albeit a bad one) and so she took time off to look after him and the kids. Perfectly normal, nothing to see here.
TBH it's how it should be. Paid sick days are still time limited and whether I take time off for my own illness or for the Generalissimos/MrsG is neither here nor there.0 -

I went to Boots after I came out of court, to buy some moisturiser, conditioner, and a present for my sister's birthday. I saw she'd got come very posh bath and shower stuff, that she liked, and thought I'd get it.
As a result of Boots' 2-for-the-price-of-3 thingy, her posh bath stuff was £0, instead of £12.
Is it just mean to give it to her? Or sensible?
Surely it was your bits that were reduced not the presentlostinrates wrote: »I've asked one o

Not good, is there not a friend you could ask instead? In Aus we have a rather sensible rule that sick leave isn't just for when we're sick, it's also for if our OHs or kids are ill.

Allegedly under EU law if you are sick whilst on prebooked annual leave you can take additonal days instead. Do you think anyone has ever had the brass to try and claim this one?!I think....0 -

Apparently ever since meeting me it has been her favourite food
however she 'doesn't do' supermarket food shopping, that is my job, and I often forget to buy her anyI think....0 -

I saw it done. She was very sick, off for months. I think it was HR that drove it rather than the patient TBH, she wasn't the sort if you know what I mean.0 -
It's generally far more trouble, if you're due in court, not to go, than to go. By the time you've sorted out other barristers, judges, jurors, witnesses, etc, it's less grief to just go to court and suffer, mostly....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0
