Better that than have your professional competence questioned by people with no ability or experience or qualifications to do so (whilst equally displaying a complete lack of respect for professional boundaries) all in a group email!

Charming! Give as good as you get, but think about it first. Never reply to a group email in anger.

I didn't even provide food so flakey was I....the nice people brought stuff here. FC's chicken is the stuff of legends.

Whilst I definitely agree about fc's coronation chicken, I completely disagree about the food! Not only did you provide, but you gave us all the opportunity not to feel quite so awkward descending on you by being able to contribute. So there :p

Wishing I hadn't removed the electric lancet from the bed a few weeks ago and put the flannel sheets away more recently. It's mighty nippy tonight.

    Hot water bottle? Might work.

An electric lancet sounds like an interesting accessory  :rotfl:

I returned the second duvet to my bed a couple of weeks ago. Not looking like I'll be getting rid of it any time soon.

Seriously, I was coordinating and its quite clear that last summer I was as sane as a box of frogs. Lots on my mind and pathological fear of going blind. I didn't even provide food so flakey was I....the nice people brought stuff here. FC's chicken is the stuff of legends.

LiR, it is absolutely OK to invite some people but not all. The paralysis that can be induced by trying to involve everyone at a private venue could have resulted in nothing happening. I am very pleased that you had a meet up, especially if it was when you were feeling as mad as a box of frogs.

Back then I may have found a reason to decline:o as I was much more cautious about identity/location etc but feel very assured these days...and feel ready to 'boldly go' from virtual friends to real.

Starting to sound like a stalker.
