It's the same with men. (Or women if this is directed at nice single men). They are there, I know I keep saying it but its because its true. You have to make some compromises and they don't knock on your door.
Oh, and there is no mr right. There is mr pretty damn worth making it worth with. After all, we ourselves are not faultless either!
I know, lir. And I definitely know I'm not faultless!
I'm ready for house-hunting, not so sure about the man, er, huntingWould probably be better off looking for some temporary accomodation first

I think that's really sweet that he had to be steered away from calling unaesthetically-pleasing horse 'beautiful'0 -

I am an amateur compared to my darling Mama. And my Dad, too, for that matter.lostinrates wrote: »As an advance on cream I can say those rice shaped ones are nice.. I like the shape of the second ones too. I can see the second ones have more lustre than the first ones. I like the Tahitian pearls too, or maybe just the idea of them....I think the colours are incredible. Generally the coloured other than cream seem a bit odd to me, but those the beauty transcends the odd factor.
Tahitian pearls are utterly gorgeous - the colours, the lustre, the ooomph they have, is amazing. They aren't what you'd call cheap - a necklace strand of baroque (not round) ones is about £1k, and the top quality round ones are hundreds or even thousands of pounds per pearl. But they are really, really lovely. How do you clean the silver without damaging the pearls?
You use a silver cloth, rather than silver polish - and if you are prone to being careless, as I am, you put some clingfilm over the pearls first....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
Ooh - and speaking of men/ Mr. Wrong...
The friends I ate takeaway with on Friday were there on the night of the emailer. I bit the bullet and mentioned the episode to them, anticipating that I would be told something horrendous that I had done to encourage.
Instead (:)) I found out that after one of the couple of times I have met emailer previously, he had commented that he found me, er, attractive. The friend who told me this was shocked that he had actually made a 'move' though. But neither of them suggested that I had done anything encouraging. Phew!0 -

I have been looking at her pictures today, and basically the problem is her neck and chest. Her face is actually sweet.
I didn't mean that
You most definitely are beautiful, lir.0 -

I'd never seen non-white/cream pearls before your post, ndg. I was mesmerised by the Tahitian ones. Once I win the lottery...0 -

I don't really 'get' that either - don't think it adds anything (except probably to the price tag)0 -

Nonono, not fishing for compliments from you, just wondering how much I can trust his.
