    OK!

These are high-quality naturally-coloured lavender freshwater pearls, set in silver:

How do you clean the silver without damaging the pearls?

I'm afraid you will all turn out to be totally different to how I imagine you to be and that you will decide I am odd/ boring/ not the person you thought you knew.

as far as I am concerned I know and care about YOU. What package you come in is not quite irrelevant, but 'silver car' is someone I care about and would want to help if she needed help. We probably are all different from how imagined, though,my experience has been the np I have met are 'pastures new' or 'Lydian' or 'fc' etc etc just ...in real life. They were undoubtedly and joyously themselves.

    and I don't like curry.

BTW to everyone that has ever sent me their name through PM, the otherside or dropped hints, I have never heard of any of you. Felt awkward that the giving of a name should have a similar response by me, as you would in RL. But then the identification was by a choice I didn't want to make.

I tolD you a name because you once seemed a little left out you knew no ones. :). I knew you didn't want to reveal yours, the choice was free and not needing reciprocation.

Now, it gets odder :o because with all nice people I use a nickname all my friends and family would not turn a hair at but not all call me. Dh uses it. I am not sure but my mother might. I use more than one name in real life. My first career had a non identifying name (which makes sense) my second I used my as given birth name, which I NEVER use (its brilliant, it identifies callers as sales people, doctors or the tax man! ;)) and I have a name I use mainly, but lots of people get wrong:rotfl::rotfl: both the latter are some what identifying and no more me than the nick name I use with np. It's not duplicitous or majorly different, its just like.....being called Stephen and going by Steve or something like that. Sort of! I don't hide my name.

They give you a tiny box for also known as on forms when you get married and stuff......we had to write mine in teeny writing to fit it in. Looked nuts, but when its understood how disparate my careers were and the need I feel for separation between life and work you can see I wouldn't want them all in the same box really.

( it goes back to the truth thing really. My name is not the whole truth, but it is the truth IYSWIM.)

Hopefully you wouldn't be upset if you gave me your real 'famous' name and I still said 'who?' not being a big follower of the whole 'sleb' thang ;)

There is a lot to be said for having such a simple, boring, normal life that I have no need to hide my true identity from you lot :)

No, I don't expect anyone to have heard me at all, was never 'celeb' just managed to get paid some. thats perfectly fine for me. i like money, but i prefer privacy. i think. Some of the stuff I have done in the past I would be concerned if people have heard of tbh. :D

When I went to the hair dresser recently he was talking about a celeb and raving about his undying love for her and I couldn't help but snort. He was horrified and asked if I had anything to found my snort upon. I explained said celeb was my mother's best friends daughter in law and left it at that. Later he started talking about another celeb and I snorted again.....friend of your mothers he asked, excitedly, and I said no, no, nothing like that....cousin actually. That's the sort of famous that people might know, nothing like the rest of us who worked a little, which is all I did. :)

    #MoneywastingExpert

IN the last 2 weeks I have:
Forgotten £100 of interest and missed it off DWs tax return thus missing out on £25 tax rebate
Forgot that the T&C of the Llloyds vantage 4% current account require you to move £1000 through the account each calendar month missing out on £45 interest
Failed to notice the the rebate on 2 mobile contracts required its annual renewal costing £60

Yes I have diariased these now, but £130 thrown away by not doing tasks that would have taken less than 10 minutes in total - in fact most of today at work will make up for not doing those 10 minutes :mad::mad:
    I think....

G'ah the trainer I was going to send ugly to for backing no longer takes horses for training as so busy clinicing. Grrr. Not an immeadiate problem as there are a few months of work to do here first, but I need a jockey with a bit more experience than dh to take her forward after she is very first backed (backing is easy, its riding horses away the few times afterwards that demands more skill, then the really hard work starts....).

Now have to decide where to send her for the bit in the middle after the stuff I do from the ground and before the stuff I will do on the ground and dh will have to learn to do from the saddle!). He is also getting himself a trainer to start working with this week to start improving his chops a bit.

If you fancy a curry at the Indian restaurant (discussed a few threads back) I'd be up for it. Ndg likes it and maybe some others would too. It'd be good to see some NPs in real life.

(I've met at least one NP in real life. I think he's met some others. You've all got the wit to PM him to check whether he thinks I'm Hannibal Lecter.)

I think this is one of the more "real" threads. Not offended if anyone decides either way. :)

I'm up for it. Anywhere that will sell beer at a reasonable price (i.e. less than Sydney pubs) is great.

I'm happy to meet up, especially in London. We can preserve some anonymity by just using our screen names here, I suppose.

But the big question is whether we will be bringing WAGs or HABs for them to be looked over? Mrs B is a big improvement on me, or at least I think so.

Also, name-tags: can we have name-tags for the Aspies, please?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
