Took both DKs somewhere today where they washed their hands in a basin with a glass tap a bit like this, but without the shower attachment. Now they are both asking if we can have taps like that at home.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Sod's law - after months of nothing suitable coming on the market in the area we're looking in our price range a detached 4 bed has just come on the market bang in the middle of it, as a price we can afford. Only problem is that we are now tied in to another 6 month tenancy. @rse.0

Yay, I got one of those for downstairs sink but in all chrome. Prefer the glas but didn't see any like that when I was shopping. Talk nicely to your landlord.
