It's too cold to go outside, I can assure you.

We went out for a walk and came back after only half an hour. It's simply not at all nice.

I was cold, despite being reasonably well wrapped up, although not in my warmest clothes. I have something that my DW refers to as the Michelin Man jacket that is really toasty warm, but I thought "This is March. The MM jacket can't be necessary." I was wrong.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Anyway it is exercising my small tired brain today and I do not think it very sporting.

We hope that you are coping with the loss of your dear friend as we are at the moment trying to come to terms with our loss.

It is a blessing that we are leaving this Bungalow because it has not brought us the future and happiness that we had hope for, firstly with the loss of my dear MIL a couple of years ago and SB last year leaving home to secure her future in Uni' and beyond and now with this tragic loss of our Tasha it is hard to come to terms with.

We feel a guilt that we both can now go out for a few days holiday without having to arrange for someone to look after our loved ones. It feel very strange at the moment.

So cold out, but so pretty. Like icing sugar sprinkled from the sky and marsh mallows blowing in the wind.

The refurbished PS3 that I bought just 2 weeks ago has been returned. :( It has been cutting out at random times. Luckily it came with a guarantee, but they have none in store so refunded. Guy instore said that online returns were generally faulty returns that had been repaired whereas as store refurbs were people upgrading.

So back to square 1 - if anyone sees a PS3 deal, let me know.

Strange things are happening with my OH Acer laptop because the screen has suddenly gone totally black. We have tried re-booting a couple of times but the fault still remains.

Now my OH will have to use SB's PC which will need updating, I suppose it will be a welcome distraction.

We have got off quite lightly on the weather here. No snow, just grey and grizzly. But yes, it's very, very cold, and the wet mud doesn't help. Our tumble dryer but be costing us a fortune ATM, but its also nice and warm in the utility room. The utility room has no back door yet (we have opted not to get one I until we know what's happening with the boiler) so the nice builder screwed some hardboard up against the opening. It's also got the original window that nice builder and the architect shock their heads over (I will replace with a double cglazed unit, maybe even this year) but its ironic that the old window and lack of door are in the warmest room in the house. In fact, though I have not yet, I am thinking of putting a cat bed in there.

Not on a Mac, but I found MacAfee made my computer run reeeeaaally slowly. I think it runs a lot of things in the background (yes, that is the technical term). I find the free anti-virus software suggested in the MSE guides a lot better (not sure whether Mac-compatible though).

When my laptop was reeallly sloww a techy friend cleaned it up by taking off some of my protection.

I had norton paid for by my neighbour (they share our internet connection), macafee which comes with BT and free AVG which I installed after being colonised by an annoying thing that had attached itself to Google Chrome and AVG was supposed to be the answer.

I am now relying only on the free AVG and it is much quicker on opening up as it is no longer running multiple protection routines.

I always get rid of the one that comes with the PC and stick Avira< on.

I also use Ccleaner< which is great at decluttering your PC every few days. You can also exclude sites from "cookie cleaning" so that you don't need to keep logging in to your regular sites.

Love a controversial GP but Vettel didn't come out of it in a good light.

:) went out for another 2.5 hours after lunch, my fingers and toes are slowly getting circulation back again.

I'm sure I was planting stuff out this time last year. But I daren't even sow any seeds at the moment.

This time last year was so mild and warm that I completely painted the outside of our bungalow in a weather proof paint and with a colour of Cornish Cream. Without the scones.

Our weather at the moment is dry but cold with a very chill wind blowing.

The readings at the moment are 2'C feels like -4'C with a ENE at 35 kmph.

We ventured out for a short walk but soon returned home the forcasters say that it will stay cold through to Thursday of this next week.:(

That PS3 deal is too expensive! Looking at argos for the 12GB version.

Last year one of my clients got sunburn at the end of feb/beginning of march.

But summer was such a wash out. Maybe we are going to have a decent summer this year as a sort of balancing out of this slow start up. :)

We can hope at least. Far too wet and heavy to touch the garden yet here.
