Two, possibly three explosions at Boston marathon. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

2 bombs have gone off at the finishing line of the Boston Marathon, with 2 further ones found (and being dismantled?). 2 dead, at least 23 injured...0 -

The conference was at the Marriott Copley Place (we stayed somewhere north of the river). We walked past the library every day on the way to the subway.0 -
JFK Library confirmed the site of the 2nd explosion.... although all still garbled. Looks like it might have been found/dismantled.... usual reporters knowing !!!! all.0

What happens in the US if you were there .... and had no medical insurance.
Do they leave you to last, or grab everybody and take them to the Hospital and then you don't get seen or get a big bill? How does that all work?0 -
I was, then I decided not to. I find the rolling news thing pretty tacky, especially with things like this....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

I don't know re insurance Pastures, but anyone would have to be mad to go there without it.
In terms of the library, there was an explosion earlier in the day that was thought to be to do with the heating system at the JFK library. The Boston Public Library, which is the one I was thinking of, is on Boylston St so I guess on the marathon route, so there could be confusing info re which library. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I like to watch "natural disasters" on 24 hour news, or UK relevant/similar news.... but not American stuff unless there's a direct link between me and the area (you can count those on the fingers of one hand).
I'd prefer to hear confirmed news in 1-2 days' time.0
