38 first cousins and I don't know all their names. Actually about five of them have the same name as me!;)

Edit: Many of them have children or even grandchildren so I have scores of "first cousins once removed" and so on.

I have 2 cousins on the paternal side and 10 on my maternal side. Never see any of them, the 2 on the paternal side I've never even met (both aged about 40) and the ones on the maternal side not seen for over 20 years. One cousin on my maternal side has 29 grand children!!

My dad has two siblings, neither of whom has children. My mum was adopted - recently found out who her (now deceased) real mother was and she didn't have any other children. Her real dad was a GI who went off to Western Europe and was never heard of again.

Therefore I have 0 cousins that I know about, but there could be some somewhere.

I have oodles of first cousins, once removed cousins and so on....

My maternal nan had 9 children and all bar one of them reproduced, some of the 9 went on to have children at a spectacular rate (one uncle had 12 children, another 8 and all bar one of them went on to have a large number of children too!).

My paternal nan had 6 children and although they didn't have quite the same number of children as the maternal side, all bar one had children....and quite a few each too.

My parents found an old list someone had done for my maternal nan years ago (certainly pre my sister being born as she didn't appear on the list...neither did the illegitimate ones one of my uncles had help produce) and up to that point, she had 35 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren, not including the ones that had died (this annoyed my mum, their first born died)

Just on my parent's branch, they had 4 children, 3 survived into adulthood and we all had children...they now have 9 grandchildren, so I have 6 nieces and nephews.

My dad once did a count up of my maternal nan's grandchildren (years after the list they found recently) and by that point she had over 120 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren....the list would be much much higher now as we have all had over 20 years to reproduce, I hadn't started having children by that point and neither had my siblings and some of my younger cousins!

We have gradually over the last 2 years, been getting back in contact with the first and second cousins via Facebook (it can be a wonderful tool) and I actually reconnected with 2 of them just last night. So when one cousin reconnects, the other cousins already re connected, also connect. These cousins tend to be from my mum's older siblings who had already grown up and had children by the time us younger cousins had been born...some of my first cousins are great grandparents already!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

I'm looking forward to another week daydreaming at my desk...not :(

This morning I caught the early train so it stopped in the tunnel for 15 minutes just after where I could have got off and taken a different route. My magnetic strip on my travel card isn't working but the employee at Blackfriars said she could not replace it as I had bought it in St Albans - strange as I have replaced at least 5 tickets at that same ticket office in the past few months.
    I think....

Sounds like you are storing it too near something else that is magnetic.

Correct - I eventually realised the problem started when I got my most recent mobile which for some reason is much more magnetic than my old one was. Having discovered this I have been much better at keeping them in different pockets but obviouly at some point over the weekend I failed to do so.
    I think....

We're going for a daytrip to the next nearest bigger town to do some retail therapy (well I will be doing pretend retail therapy aka window shopping :rotfl:)

    Boys back at school tomorrow!
