We're in April. I be you could use them within the week if you tried.

    :D.

Edit: local radio had a challenge I heard this week to try and use the strange and outlandish word 'demonstrative' which they explained, complete with mispronunciation. I tuned in to a different radio station quickly. Note: struggling with a good radio station for the car ATM when I want music. Finding it depressing.

This may be on the cusp of becoming the weird people thread....and Miss Kool as board guide might justifiably move it to the families and relationships board.

It's always been a weird board:o. There are some odd nice people:D

Pastures are you actively looking for a property at the moment?

I ask because I saw a nice looking retirement property in your sort of direction. You are a bit too young at present though as it is for over 55's. I will pm a link.

I hear they have released the old Flintstones episodes out in the Middle East. Its not popular in all of the countries, the people of Bahrain don't like but the people of Abu Dhabi do.

Every year we talk about going, but then don't get round to organising until it's too late, the hotel rooms are expensive and so are the flights. Maybe next year, providing it isn't in somewhere that I can't get to on DH's airline (no that isn't a posh alert, he just works for an airline, I realised after I typed it that it sounded like DH was Richard Branson).

I haven't heard any of the songs yet, I normally watch the two semi-finals and that's the first time I get to hear them.

    Have fun!

I've (unfortunately) just got into the office. I've got 2 working weeks before I'm leaving yet.

We've had the standard office debate re who's going to win, and we've decided that we don't know, or if we do know, it's going to descend into an argument. The basic run-down at the moment of the main ones in the office

Bonnie Tyler (UK); had successful EU career 20 years ago
Cascada (Germany); had successful, more recent career.

Sweden has an artist we've never heard of, but does have the dest song of the auto-qualifiers. This needs to be paired, however, with the contest being in Sweden and the host country not doing that well in years gone by.

In the 1st Semi, my favorites (top 3) are Russia, Ukraine and Serbia, and in the 2nd Semi, my top 3 are Bulgaria, Israel, and of course Georgia (whose song is written by the guys who wrote the winning song last year).

The Georgian commentators this year will be OH and Vano Merabishvili, and it is unknown yet who will give the votes (as some will remember, last year it was OH!)

I'm going to get some diesel, and disappear off to Bournemouth for a few hours! I'll see you later.

    5000? Nothing!

There's at least 250,000 in here :). For personal use, that is rather a lot. I probably have 2-300, as everything else is digital.

I hate to see people upset so and. Feel forced to break a trust. Here it is, lj had a job as a lumpy mattress for a while. Before he knew whether he was male or female.

I run a sort of interactive walk on another forum and I'm currently walking with people I've never met in a country I've never been to. I used to feel that was suitably bizaare. Now I just think it's normal;).

CK, you actually think Bonnie has a chance? Actually I've found myself humming along to it a few times.:o

So much cleaning! About 90 sq m and when I move, I hope it's smaller. But that's the 'joy' of being a one person household!

It's a possibility. Remember here, that Blue came 10th, and much of their career had been based in UK/Ireland.

It would have been nice to see Carola back for Sweden though, I think, especially as it's 30 years since her Eurovision debut, although I can confirm that she'll be making an appearance :)

Germany's definitely in with a chance, and I think we'll be seeing several familiar faces in the final (bearing in mind I've seen the final stage layouts for 36 of the 39 countries)

Our old friend Lynda Woodruff will also be making an appearance.

Article in today's Times that pyschologist have worked out that the minor countries now stand a better chance of winning because those who get a free ticket to the final don't get the exposure that the minor countries get in advance of the grand final.
