I have a confession to make. A couple of days ago DS decided to find a hole in the net curtains ( yes I dislike nets but like privacy) and decided to put his finger in it and rip one in half almost. I took them down straight away because they were ruined and...........dumped them on the chair. Why?! Anyway this morning an epiphany, I picked them up and threw them away. It takes sometime but it eventually filters through.
Off to get the last of the Christmas bits for the little one this morning then a morning of mad cleaning and sorting. You're a stronger woman than me, I'd've been finding lots of re-purposes for the nets, probably on the allotment and would have found it hard to let them go.
Decluttered two more big IKEA bags of grass and roots from the allotment to the tip. I am on a big clearance project and because this is the last corner of the allotment to come under my firm control, there is nowhere left to dump stuff whilst I am working; I'm working on the dumping ground, the ninth square, so to speak.
Haven't done much around the homestead but as this is the last day of my annual leave, and it has been raining heavily since yesterday evening, I shall spend a home day and get some bits done inc some batch cooking, which will declutter some ingredients.
Coupla days ago, I didn't buy the milk until I'd used the last of it, rinsed the bottle and slung it into the recycling on the way up to the shop. The simple symmetry was very satisfying, somehow.

This is a very satisfying thread, thanks for all the contributions!
I put my feet into the old storage caravan next to the veg plot yesterday and have started clearing out the cupboard. Mice had settled in the curtains stored there but some I could rescue for netting on the plot, lol. I also found 3 pairs on in-line skates which I'll give a wipe-over and off to CS they go. The matresses on the benches will also go out onto cleared veg beds to stop weeds coming back before I can tend to them in spring. It's a start to dismantling the old caravan - way to go, girl, Geronimo!

I know, borders on heresy, doesn't it?
Just dragged the ironing board out and was pleasantly surprised that the debris from 3 washloads worked out as ironables of only 2 blouses and 4 hankies.
This is because I've been off work for the week so haven't been using the ironable stuff, have dressed in some cases straight back off the airer so no ironing involved, and have had some towels in the wash.
Howsomever, all is good. I may have to reward myself with a cuppa, or call it lunchtime and reward myself with foooooood also.
Keep on wishing the MSE tech-pixies onwards in their efforts. GQ xxEvery increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

With the help of a fab friend, I have done the playroom!
5 bin bags to the tip, more to the charity shop and more to a friend.
I feel a huge weight has been lifted and I can't say how wonderful it was watching DS play with the toys he'd been able to see he had now."Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful." William Morris0
