When my now hubby was my BF and I only got to stay over at his for a night at the weekends, the last thing I noticed was how much loo roll was used..

I mean.. Come on.. Are you serious????

When we were kids at home, my parents noticed my sister was using far too much toilet paper. In the end if she needed the toilet she had to go to them and ask for toilet paper and they would give her sufficient sheets according to whether she needed a wee or a poo or both!

    Worth a try? ;)

Should I just give up and be grateful that at least he's learnt to change it, and not just leave the empty roll there til I do it?

Yes. Considering some blokes leave the seat up, cant aim to save their lives and dont change an empty roll, you are getting off lightly

What age was she when they stopped having to do this?

A couple of years ago I was in France, and had to visit the public convenience.

There was an attendant in there, and you had to pay her a few cents to get a square of loo paper.

Perhaps this pay as you go approach could be adopted in this case?!

They do this in Russia too, except what they hand you is normally really rough, dirty looking paper. Sand paper would be preferable _pale_

There is nothing like travelling over there to help you appreciate a roll of Andrex :heartpuls

Honestly... you really told your boyfriend off for using too much loo roll?

You're lucky he hasn't decided to become your ex-boyfriend.. life's too short to be told how to wipe your own backside!
