Boyfriends and toilet roll

  • I lived in shared housing last year with two boys and one other girl. We got so irrate at the disappearing loo roll that we used to take a photo of it in the morning and then again at night (sounds ridiculous but student living doesn't allow for loo roll frivolities!!). One of the boys would use a half a roll at a time... drove us insane!! Think he must have been eating it!

Luckily my boyfriend doesn't use loo roll!
  • If its the cost that's an issue get one of those massive toilet rolls(like those in public toilets). We can get them in the market for about £2.00 each. That would last anybody a good while, longer than a day or so.
Also its not uncommon for men to use toilet roll when they have a wee and for hankies etc. So the large roll will be able to accommodate all eventualities.
He might be putting it on the loo seat so he doesn't have to sit on the actual seat.
Thats another thing people can do.

Or use squares of newspaper. That should encourage anyone to BYO!

I don't know why the OP is getting such a hard time. Personally I think that's a HUGE amount of loo roll to use in such a short space of time unless the boyfriend has several stomach or bowel issues. Could there be something wrong with him?

After getting sick of people not pulling their weight with the whole buying bog roll thing I just used to buy myself luxury bog roll and take it in with me :p

Can't say i've ever noticed my bf using that much when he's here..(and he leaves the seat down! )

    .

I cant see anything wrong with wanting a clean bottom. If he goes to the loo to do a poo then he is going to use more than a couple of squares.O.P cant expect her boyfriend to walk round with a dirty bottom.

Of course I don't! But I just think it's a very large amount to use in a couple of days.

I seem to have a different problem with my OH. his mum trained him to use only two squares for a poo - and the number of times I have sent him back to bathroom to 'wipe properly - you still stink'!!!! just wait till you have to wash his underpants and you will know why I don't mind how much loo roll he uses!
