My friend said hes got a sansung galaxy s3.
what about this one the s11. is this a good phone please?
Yep, the samsung galaxy S2 was the best phone of 2011. If you look at my first post it's basically the same phone as the Galaxy S3 Mini but with a slightly better camera. So it's easily in the mid range category and for £17pm with 500 mins and 1GB data is an excellent deal.
Can't go wrong there. You'll find the Samsung very easy to use and it has a nice big screen as well.
Good thing about Tesco is that it uses O2 network so if you're happy with O2 then tesco will work fine. Also you can cap accounts so your monthly cost is always £17.50
Thumbs up from me.
and the lady in P4U was trying to sell you an ace for this price with half the minutes and 1/4 of the data :rotfl:0 -
Yes I wouldn't have just accepted her offer without checking it out first. so would the mini Samsung be better in your first post or the last one Ive posted up. thanks for your help.0

Galaxy S2 due to the following reasons.
-Bigger screen
-slightly faster processor
-better camera (8mp)
-more minutes and data for the same price
tbh the differences are minimal but the camera and more mins/data make the S2 a great deal.
The only thing the Mini has going for it is that it's a newer phone and so may get new software updates but tbh the S2 is already up to date so no reason why you shouldn't go for it.
you can watch a video on them here just to get an idea of the feel/look etc... (sorry it's a long video)
go to youtube and type "Galaxy S2 vs. Galaxy S3 Mini"
(ignore what the guy says about software, there is an update to the s2 now so it has the same software as the s3 mini.)
Sorry can't post links.0 -
Pay monthly- better for long run

Hi
do you mean pay monthly on a contract? you seem to get more minutes etc on the contract rather than payg. But don't know for sure.0 -
He means pay monthly on contract. Especially if you plan to use data or lots of minutes. That's why the pay monthly deals at the £10-£20 price point are such good deals.
You'd have to pay at least £15pm minimum on pay as you go to get an allowance of 500 mins and 1GB data. And that's without a phone.0 -

It's in between the Desire C and Galaxy S2 with the latter being far superior.
The Galaxy S2 is easily the best phone to go for at £17pm. Maybe if the One V was around £13pm i'd recommend it but it's not that competitive at £15pm. (unless everyone you call uses virgin?)0 -
Thanks for your help. Ive just seen this phone which looks a good deal.
what do you think of the I-phones. someone said they are not rubbish and break easily.
