    Does anyone have any idea why soap powder has got so expensive over recent years? £19.95 or £30 just absolutely shocks me. :(

    No idea, but I'm more shocked when I encounter dirty people. There really is no excuse for it.

    There's a long thread on the OS board about DIY laundry detergent and soap nuts btw.

    Special K cracker crisps original sea salt only 19p a box at mine yesterday

    McVities cake bars etc. including Galaxy mistletoe kisses cake bars 5pk, Temptations Mint Slices 6pk and Ginger Nuts slices 6pk....all at 39p.

    i buy quite a bit of tinned/dried food from ffoods and recently got some frozen bacon...cooked it and out of 10 rashers i got a whole tea cup of water and it shrank massively...just unlucky or is more of the meat watery ??
