Store was poor though, just four checkouts and weird staffDocile, robotic and emotionless.
I got the feeling they may have been clock watching
:rotfl:I know just what you mean. Whilst a couple of the assistants at my local are fine, there are a couple that are, well, weird!! I think some may say socially awkward? But you're right Miroslav - docile, robotic and emotionless :rotfl:Maybe we shop in the same store:)
Anyway, I called in today and they'd got 75g jars of Candarel sweetener for £1 - the same is £2 in Tesco. Bit of a bargain I thought.0 -

Staff in my local are not the kind of people you would see at the checkouts in Mr Ts or Mr Ss. Most of them are very sloooow but one chap (with about 5 million earrings ) is very helpful I even saw him carrying an old couples shopping to the car last time I was there.0 -

Must admit they do sometimes take up the whole aisle when filling freezer cabinets though! lol
We only saw 3 staff members in our store. One seemed 'normal', the other two less so.
I suppose they could be decent people though:rotfl:I know just what you mean. Whilst a couple of the assistants at my local are fine, there are a couple that are, well, weird!! Socially awkward is a good term. Maybe we do...Somerset by any chance?I'm in the Midlands. Maybe Farmfoods have some sort of alternative recruitment policy? To be fair, all the staff seem well trained, even if some are a little "wooden"!

Popped in for 2 bags of sugar (still £1.50 for 2 x 1kg bags) and picked up some Big D mixed nuts and raisins (200g) for 69p.
Home Bargains have them for the same price and much better quality than Aldi's.
Noticed the onions are now 69p per 1.5kg pack or 2 packs for £1.20 (40p per kg).
